Connie, you hit it right on.

You have won! Your identity is first and foremost in Jesus Christ. The victory you have is in Jesus. He gave this to you when He died for you on that cross many years ago. Cling to that victory. Read the Holy Bible's book of John. You are victorious. Don't live with lies in your heart that you are not good enough, that someone is better, the husband's total deception that life is better outside your marriage. Live in truth and grieve through your sad times and lean totally on Jesus Christ. He WILL heal your broken heart. He loves you more than anyone or anything in this life. Keep on keepin' on and take each day as it comes. Romans is a very good book for seeing you through difficult times. My life is reflected in Romans 8:28. " All things work together for the good of us who love Him AND are called according to His plan." Believe Him through all that you will deal with in this life, but know His promises are not hurting and are very real for supporting you in your walk with Him along side of you.

For I know the plans I have for you, to provide a future and a hope. Our worth is in our identity in Christ, not in someone else's decisions to remain by our sides, or not. But over time, the identity of the marriage (two become one) usually becomes our identity, which is why when a marriage fails our own personal identity flounders. Sometimes God unravels that which has become, through His eyes, not of Him, and rebuilds our identities in a new way. It can be heartbreakingly difficult, until we reach the point of God's victory where He has made all things new, and we are whole. But if we let Him, it is also at that point that God will re-establish our lives, free of idols. People always have the right to choose and we have to release them to God and let them have what God allows in their lives. It might mean they leave and their lives are without us. But, when we realize that we do not have the right to expect, assume, or control another's decisions, and we allow God to be their guiding influence, then we have reached a place where the revelation knowledge that God is God and He can do what He wants to prove it to us. So that, like Job, yea, though He slay me, yet will I follow Him, becomes a reality. God will take evil and work it for good; He is the giver of good gifts; He is the heart of our lives, the breath of our bodies, the lover of our souls! First and foremost, He is our Father, friend, savior, and through Christ, our husband and everything on earth is a fleeting gift from Him. For those things that are seen are temporary, but those things unseen are eternal. When we allow Him to establish these priorities in our lives, many avenues of dysfunctional thinking, close. Rest in the Lord and trust His ways, for they are good!

You have so much worth, mainly because you have put God first, before all else. My sweet, He puts you first, God almighty, The Creator has placed you as the wonderful mother you are. He says you are worthy, I believe Him. Please do the same. To be a mother is a glorious gift from God. From a sister in another country, you rock Girl. Love your babies and love your God. He will make all things right!
