"Son, tell me singing..." Oh. God how great you are! Thank you for the life of this young man and his family, teach me to never see people by their physical limitations. Teach me to see your presence in them.

Damned bullies! Singing will help him so much. There is a natural breathing rythym when we sing, and it eases the stuttering. Remember Mel Tellis? Yeah.

Warum müssen Menschen behindert sein um erst dann toll gefunden werden? Ich finde es nicht schön von Godtube dies zu zeigen. Lieben wir erst nur die Schwachen? Scheinheilige Religion! Why must people be handicapped to be found only great? I think it's not nice of GodTube to show it. We love until only the weak? Hypocritical religion!

Had the same problem all my life. When you sing you sing in rhythm and don't stutter, when you talk you lose the rhythm of speech....hence the stutter.

Mel Tillis is one of the most famous singers who has a difficult time speaking a sentence due to stuttering, but sings beautifully. James Earl Jones and Winston Churchill both battled stuttering. Jones said he gave up on speaking for a number of years because it was so painful. Blessings to this wonderfully talented young man and his family.

He's a great singer, but I have stuttered my whole life as well. No one who stutters has problems singing, this isn't a "miracle". Let's get our facts straight.

This young man has a gift for music. As a speech-language pathologist, I would like to add a bit of education about stuttering, or "fluency". Virtually 100% of people who stutter do not stutter when they sing. In fact, that is a portion of the diagnosis for a fluency disorder. I would strongly encourage him to work with a speech-language pathologist who really knows how to work with this disorder. He can improve!

I really am proud of him! I know and understand what he went through. School growing up was terrible and all I wanted to do was leave. I dropped out of college because I was too afraid to stand infront of the class and give a report (nobody knows this). All of my brothers stutter. We got it from my Father. My father has it the worst to the point in which he can not get 3 or 4 words out. As I got older, Ive learned to control it better. I'm now 32 yrs old, and my stutter is bad around my family but to others its not as bad as it was. I try to mask it in speaking fast. I want to encourage him and tell him that you can control your stutter. You just have to find what works for you.. as singing works good :) but maybe you can think of yourself singing as you speak. just an idea. But I'm sure it will get better :) always keep your head up and keep smiling. Michelle
