The power of GOD at work. If this doesn't touch you, you're not human...

This reminds me of one of my favorite singers, Harry Evelin from Panama.

God bless you. what looked bad in the eyes of others, God used it for good. Those cruel children didn't mean to do you good, but God knew how to turn this around, and use your disability to proclaim his name. God loves you. Don't forget that.

Speech ability and singing ability are controlled by two different parts of the brain. That's why stutterers can sing without a problem. I learned this when my daughter in law had a stroke and we read about the various parts and functions of the brain.

I didn't watch the show, but saw him on here. He is wonderful. Reminds me of hearing Mel Tillis sing without a problem.

Precious Soul who sings like an angel, overcoming great odds in our misguided world these days.May this delightful young man bring warmed hearts and love back into our world, with his feats of overcoming challenges and singing beautifully....May he be blessed all the days of his life, and be treated with kindness, love and respect always. <3

I experienced the same thing when I spoke and when I sang. God, working through time and training, have minimized the stuttering, but not eradicated it. I still do when I 'm flustered, but, it made me cry out in my heart what needed to be said; I either sang them or focused my thoughts on paper. Out of pain comes beauty.

What a wonderful amazing video. He is such an awesome boy. It proves to me that what I have always heard about music in our brain must be true , and that is, it is stored in different part of the brain than speech and other things. I hope this young man ends up winning "American Idol", In essence , he already is one.

When someone is cruel to us we can sit down, pout and morn about how bad the world is, or we can let that cruelty motivate us to succeed. There is no revenge like success.

It's a shame we can't go through life singing everything. Then maybe people could understand us. I've found that a speech impediment disappears when we sing. Do you think that's why God gives us the ability to sing. I know when we sing praises to Him what may have seemed like a problem/trouble drifts away.

This is very inspirational but its not a miracle. The choir director at a church I attended stuttered like this young man, and also sang like him. When the choir director could not say it to us, he would sing it. The choir director told us its common among those who stutter.
