how can you shout in tune?? LOL..if you are a vocal music teacher of 30 years you should appreciate her impeccable range and emotion......doubtful

This touched my heart and she is giving God honor. She is praising God and remember he inhabits those praises. This and all who every praised him singing, I am sure brought him great joy. Her singing is beautiful and I wouldn't even think of criticizing anyone praising God. Even if your voice sounds like a tin bucket, God, who you are praising with your tin bucket voice, thinks it is beautiful because you are honoring him. Yes, she definitely missed it.

Lyn, you are right, not a contest. God inhabits the praises of his people and I know he isn't keeping a record of who is best. This was beautiful and I know it brought much joy to the Lord.

Nope, nice try but doesn't hold a candle to Aled....

It's the song and the feeling I get from the song no matter who is doing the singing!

Beautiful, praise the Lord for beautiful voices that can share witih us.. I was moved to tears, the ending was great.. love the song anyway, my very favorite for Christmas songs...Sandi Patti sings it very well too and yes David Phelps is awesome in singing it too, thank you Jesus for the many blessings we get to share it... Merry Christmas every one... lots of HIM...

That is Carrie's rendition! It was beautiful. God's talent demonstrated.

awsome! but have you guys seen Mariah Carey sing this?

  • 2012-12-22T19:18:41

Beautiful! Where can I buy this song from her?

Sorry to be controversial but I wish people would sing the music as it was written. Adophe Adam wrote this to be sung in a meaningful, sacred way. It really upsets me when people change the melody and rhythm of a song. As a vocal music teacher of 30 years experience, I can think of a great many renditions of O Holy Night which touch the heart and soul with the pure tone and expression of their performances - this is just shouting in tune! Listen to someone sing and project the tone WITHOUT a microphone - you won't be disappointed.
