no, No, NO! there is no "santa" in Abba's blessings and miracles. "Santa" is [sa-n-ta] from [sa-ta-n] when his name was confounded in Genesis chapter 11, as were many other names and words. Please don't teach your children to honor santa. Your Bible has plenty of beautiful teachings for your children but notice there's nothing about santa nor christmas. So if you can avoid christmas, avoid it altogether. Even your pastor (who knows the truth) will confess to you if you ask him, that christmas has absolutely nothing to do with JESUS, and everything to do with pagan rituals. Come back and post what your pastor said and it will help others hear the truth. But let's not argue about it. If you disagree, let's say it nicely :)

We ALL had some type of "reaction".....Mark, I am SO SORRY your HEART didn't allow you to REALLY "feel".... As with any 'special needs' child....a smile..... a nod.....a wave...... a stare.....is all VERY WANTED & WELCOMED by those around them! I ONLY WISH our little boy were still here with us.....to "have to be told to give a hug"..... but I await THAT DAY....when the Lord returns....that I shall have that LONG AWAITED opportunity!

What a heart warming video. That boy was happy which made his family happy. How awesome for all. Trust me Jesus is there. You just didn't look hard enough. God Bless this family.

This video totally promotes a misconception of autism. It is called 'a spectrum' because there is a very wide description of 'autistic' behavior. This young man seems only to be mentally handicapped. Others are brilliant but not sociable and totally focused on their own interests. The parents seem to be treating him as a two year old. That is not the way to encourage his growth and development both of which are possible in some cases.

wow.. he's got lots of presents.. :( I don't have one.. Last yr, I have only one...from a frenemy.

No one can understand the feeling of the parents when they see the reaction of their child. Only the parents with autistic child can understand.Let Jesus, the center of the Christmas celebration, be remembered at this occasion. He can make the difference in the family's real feeling.

Walter Santos, as part of his Christmas message, recommended your resources. And the International Christian Recovery Coalition (www.ChristianRecoveryCoalition.com) certainly appreciates your resources. In His Service, Richard G. Burns, dickb@dickb.com

Jesus may not have been mentioned in this video, but this young mans family and Santa himself were showing the LOVE of JESUS to Trevor. Unfortunately, not all people find this in their hearts. I do see where you are coming from Louise, I just don't agree. :)

This was not boring Jonathon, at least not to the mother of a 21 year old with severe autism. Any positive reaction is a cause for happiness, exciting or not. People who are not involved in the lives of one of these special people just don't get it. That makes me sad for you.

jonathon you are a scrooge. shame on your blind side way of seeing things. bah humbug to you.

so sweet

Mark, that 'reaction' is pretty much Autism in a nutshell. But He still enjoyed the visit, and his parents showed great love for him. That was all very heartwarming.

@Rachel: As I noted previously...my grand daughter is autistic..so those could be considered my credentials I guess...but one of the points is...there was NO Jesus in this Christmas Story. And if it's on GodTube...guess I expect it to have reference to God. And @ Lorraine...I agree w/Elisa...when something genuinely excites autisitc children...they do light up.

PS,,, I am grandmother to a 16 year old... autistic grand daughter...a sweet and lovable child...as this boy seems to be. And I know my response may seem harsh...but still...I really felt for the boy!

I don't get why this is on GodTube! This was a true X-mas video....there was NOTHING mentioned about The Reason for the Season...Jesus! And after all is said and done...I don't think this young man had a "delightful" reaction. The only reactions were one's coaxed out of him by his parents. I felt sadness for him.

Please read the comments from Len Johnson and a few others. You must understand the Autisic Spectrum Disorder to fully get this video. It actually IS very heart warming.
