As a mother of a handicap son I thank Micheal for taking a stand and doing the aright thing. We need more Micheal's in the world.

I have a special-needs son with Autism. Does he "need to be special somewhere else" too? Really? What a terrible thing for a person to say in a public place! Maybe that patron and his family need to eat at home and not go out in public! All of God's children are important!

WAY TO GO! you did what any normal folks would have done in this situation-the ******** that you had to make comments to you really didn't want there anyway. you did great and from within you are satisfied! I hope your boss appreciates this act as much as we do. God Bless.

My hope is that the guy who behaved so very badly finally "gets it" after seeing all the attention this has gotten. How horrible to teach such ignorance and intolerance to his own kids! More of us need to put aside our own insecurities and stand up for what we know is right and just.........great job Michael. And kudos to your manager for agreeing with your actions.

I have happy tears right now clapping for you Michael as I viewed this a couple of times with my Grandson Gabriel who is so very special (Cerebral Palsy) - how could that person say that about the beautiful 5 year old Angel :) I like this restaurant for standing up for Michael (a strong Arch Angel by the way and you were strong) - thank you from those who love people no matter what life dealt their way :)
