Christian Couple Use Huge Lottery Jackpot to Help Community

WOW! When did God turn the "Judgement Seat" over to Harriet, Dorothy, Shelly and Cheryl, what's up with you? It's not hard to figure out why He ( I assume you mean God) has not blessed you with the gift of a lottery ticket. If you gave it as a gift and it turned out to be a winner, you would want it back! God is ALL KNOWING! Did it ever occur to any of you that God knew the goodness of their hearts, even long before they ever got the ticket, whether gifted or purchased? Did it ever occur to any of you that God may have used this couple as vessels to help this community, not even the community where they reside, with the much needed things that they could not afford? I'm sure you have heard the expression, "God works in mysterious ways"? Did it ever occur to any of you that because he knew their hearts and knew they would be faithful stewards, that he also wanted this country to see that there is still good and miracles still happen. I remind you, the same country, as my grandmother used to say, "Is going to hell in a handbasket"? We, Americans, NEED to hear about and see goodness, true christian love, miracles, blessings and giving! We definately DO NOT get nearly enough. Do any of you ladies ever just stand in your yard and look at the beauty and miracle of the sky, trees, each leaf, flowers, even the miracle of the wind? Try it, you might just have a really good day!

God does not bless the lottery tickets. The Bible says you should work for everything. In order to have a winner; you have to have a lot of losers. I know that people say that it is just $1.00. Do you know how many Bibles or tracts you can buy with just a $1.00. When you play the lottery; you are hoping to get something for nothing. You also are telling the Lord that you are not trusting Him with all your needs. The Lord owns everything! If He wants you to have it; He is able to give it to you. He does not need our help.

Why can't we have more stories like this in our news. This is a positive story that impacts a lot of people. God Bless this couple who has not let the money go to their heads, but instead has chosen to stay humble.

makes you smile to know there are still some great people out there that think of others May God guide u and protect u.there will always be those that are jelous and say wrong things u know in your heart what God is tell u to do and so be happy and thanks.

It is good to share your blessing with others that's what God want us to do May God continue to bless them so they can continue to bless ohers.

Wonderful and good for their tax return. Putting the money where they want it to go, rather than where our tax system wants it to go. GOOD FOR THEM. Every lottery winner has this choice.
