I have been touched by this series too-more powerful than other biblical TV series and movies I have seen!

I agree with the timing of the arrival of the magi. However, look at the presence of a Savior...don't get caught up with the details. Will this discrepancy matter in eternity?

Actually, 5 seconds or years don't matter, if the portrayal's biblical. Either way. Later is later & scripture's presented. It's true our interpretation of detail can vary. (wasn't Mary a blonde? & that Rabbi actor from a ghetto in New York?) However, that's how SO much of God's Word get's perverted by Satan. As it's been in many biblical presentations. Music, words or film. I prefer more of a Scorsesee type of film. Yet he gave us that "Last Temptation" lie of the past. I'm praying this film adds to, the coming world revival. As the last Pope reigns with Israel & Satan's child Obama make a deal...

Virginia, it is absolutely true that the star did not appear until the night of His birth and the wise men did not fly a jet plane to the birth of Jesus. It took months for them to arrive; however, this is not about the accuracy of when the wise men arrived! It is about the birth of the Son of God, the Savior of the world... and they did get that most important element of the Scripture correct in this mini-series. Do not pick at the insignificant discrepancies, but pray that the truth of who Jesus is and the need for men to repent and be saved will be the result of this man's attempt to share Jesus with the World.

Seem that some people say who cares , let's celebrate. The wise men came to the home and not a manger. According to some historians, it was approximately 2 years after the birth. Jesus wasn't born on the 25th, but more than likely in September or October. Christmas is a pagan holiday to celebrate the Winter Solstice anyway. We should celebrate Jesus all year and not just one day, as some do. PRAISE JESUS!

One thing is for sure! When you get to heaven, you can ask the wise men and not have to rely on human opinion. The important thing is Christ was born to save anyone who believes in Him.

From what I hear, the 3 kings didn't see Jesus untill he was about 2 years old.

Who cares precisely when the Kings came? Celebrate.
