Ths song is not about atheism....it is telling a story of "imagine all the world peace, a brotherhood of man we would have if there were no division of religion or country." Most wars are started because of religion or creed. It doesnt say not to belive in God, but to think outside of the box of religious beliefs. So much has been lost in this world and so many lives lost and destroyed over religion and land boundries. There is nothing wrong with writing a song aobut world peace. And there is certainly nothing wrong with this young man spreading that message. His story is wonderful and to let something as little as a song "disappoint" you with this story is sad. This boys story is is full of love and caring and peace. That is just what John Lennon is conveying in these lyrics. Who wouldn't like that? I sure do.

There is no doult that your baby is in heaven...The word of God tells us to be a child...Yes you don't have to worry your baby is there.

I agree, Rusty, and thank you for clarifying what you meant. I was a little surprised when I clicked on the God Tube vid and heard "Imagine" by John Lennon. I didn't say anything because I understand the point of the vid and read the comments of people being touched anyway. I didn't want to be overly critical. I did think, however that God Tube was suppose to be all Christian videos. Have a good day & God bless.

Aleister Crowley was a Satanist. Aleister Crowley is behine many many songs. He was on the cover of the Beatles cover album at one time. They sing glory to him as does many many famous rock bands Liek Ozzy Ozborne, and the rolling Stones. Do the research for yourself. It is an awesome story of adoption and I praise the Lord for such. But we as Christians can not dismiss the culture attack that has been present since adam and eve. Parents let their teen listen to this dark music. It has rythym and sounds good but it IS NOT!

I'm puzzled why this video is on GodTube. There is life and death in words, and the song's words are not of life but death. "Imagine there is no Hell . . . no Heaven." It maybe the dream of God-less people, but certainly not Christians--no matter who sings the words.

I know Marilyn had me in tears glad you like it.

I almost did't listen to it because of the godless song. I pray he knows Jesus as personal lord and Savior. And chooses songs that Glorify God.

Though this song is a God-less national anthem, I still appreciate the talent this young man has. Too many people are trying to kill a fly with a bazooka on this thread. Good job Emmanuel. Jesus loves you....

What is happening with Godtube? Not only is this a Secular song, but it's an in-your-face Godless song. "Imagine there's no heaven. It's easy if you try". Why would a song like that belong on here? There should just be songs glorifying the Lord. This is how the Enemy creeps in. He is subtle. Perhaps the Administrator(s) should read the word about this or even a great book such as C.S. Lewis "The Screwtape Letters" which is about how the Devil and his followers use deceitful ways to bring down Christians and Non-Christians alike.

AMEN, Billy! You are so right. So many Christians focus on the little things instead of looking at the big picture. God loves us. It does not matter whether we know him or not. Sometimes even as a Christian, we have to say or do unchristian things. What matters is that we do it with a Godlike attitude and still lift him up. If singing this song captures the audience so that in a later song or actions he uplifts the Lord, then he will reach more people and possibly bring them to Christ. God forgave us for all our sins, past present and future, not just for the ones we know about. Remember the most effective way to lead someone to salvation is to relate to them on their level and not be high and mighty above them.

Written after reading the comments following this video. Jeez the judgement of so many just got to me. I apologize.

For all of those who don't see God in this beautiful soul I feel sorry for you. Forget the darn song and look at his life. This is a true testimony of the God/Jesus light in all of us. Stop judging then call yourselves Christians. What Would Jesus Say? His whole message was love. Love your brother as yourself. Who is your brother? I say it is everyone you meet. Love and Light to all!

He has been blessed with a family and a wonderful voice. Now, I pray that he can understand where these Blessings come from.

Thanks Ron for having the courage in the midst of the emotions to state the truth.

God bless him abundantly! Unfortunately, John Lennon's song is an Anti-Christ song, and it is unfortunate that he chose to promote it to the world. God-Tube should not feature it unless as a call to pray for this young man's salvation.

This video was amazing! One of the greatest stories of God's love I have seen in a while (two nuns find these crippled boys in a shoebox and a woman adopts and loves them). I read the comments below and I think a majority of them are completely obnoxious! This is one of the main reasons people think Christians are annoying and obnoxious. People are complaining about the song this guy sang. This guy was found in a shoe box with no arms and now he has a family and can sing! I agree that the song is Godless and it is a song about atheism but going there on this video is just like what Jesus said-"You strain at a gnat and swallow a camel". This video is full of true Christianity. True religion and undefiled is caring for widows and orphans in their distress. God is love. Focus on the greater things instead of silly and petty stuff and you will be surprised how many people you actually reach with Christ's love.
