This Story Is So Sad.. may god Bless Him And His Family. Beautiful Voice... SO Beautiful.. Everyone looked shocked....this makes me think about my life... he is so brave.....

We are made in God's likeness.. We are resilient, we are courageous, we can overcome. Because He made us, we can bring glory to God when we overcome our setbacks and go on with uplifted hearts.

Amazing way to start the day. Thank you and I totally agree with your comments. This is my very favorite John Lennon song!

I totally agree with you...this song was an inspiration and beautiful ...I do not believe this young man Emmanuel thought of it as anything other than heartfelt inspiration... His mother named him Emmanuel which is biblical... It is obvious his mother has a heart of Jesus for all of the love and care she has given these boys...People need to quit making something bad out of everything .

Not really even interested in the song or why he sung it...I just love he and his brother's story! :)

Well said, Cathy.

Que mensaje de amor de parte de Emmanuel, ojala que no existieran guerras, fronteras y hambre en el mundo, espero que el pueda cumplir su sueño y llevar un mensaje de paz al mundo entero.... Lovebly message of love from Emmanuel, I wish that there were no wars, borders and world hunger, I hope he can fulfill his dream and bring a message of peace to the world....

I would of never put the song Imagine with atheism. That thought never crossed my mind. And I agree with Tracy.

I am complaining... imagine there is no heaven is a terrible thing to say! Its what I am looking forward to. Its a promise that Christ has made to me, to be with Him forever. This is a terrible song! might as well put in one of the lines... imagine we are all robots... with no sense at all.. And I don't like the fact that this guy used God's name in vain. God's name is Holy... This is so bad, that I am considering stopping my daily video from GodTube! I am bothered and sickened by this.. Neo...

Despite any of his own religious views, I don't think John Lennon intended this song to promote atheism. I think he was simply alluding to what kind of world we might live in if the things over which people tend to go to war simply didn't exist. Like it or not, religion takes a large portion of that pie. Now before someone takes my statement and runs amok with it...I am a Christian, and I don't even want to "Imagine" what all the repercussions would be if all the things mentioned didn't exist. But it's a song, people. He was just saying Imagine what it would be like if all people lived in harmony instead of finding things to fight over. I think his case is proven right here in this very forum. Oh - and by the way... I find it interesting - or should I say appalling - that, based on one song this young man chose to sing, any of us might elevate ourselves to be so pious as to assume that he is not a Christian. When was the last time YOU did something that was not in perfect harmony with the laws of God? One last note: Emmanuel means "God with us". Perhaps his mother knew that when she named him. I would be very curious to know what his brother's name is.

The character at the scene is an amazing show of the mercy of God. The song is not appropriate to that which the Lord has done in saving him in the shoebox through that woman that adopted them. There is heaven and there is hell! There is also things to care for, at least where to spend eternity. The video is a channel calling for prayer that the life of Emmanuel and his family be Redeemed to Christ.

Why don't we just enjoy the song without any labels, judgments, and blaming? Or we could just sit around and wonder which ideology (capitalism, liberalism, communism...) led to Emmanuels' situation. Judge not less thou be judged.
