Any books by A.W. Tozer, who was never afraid to challenge those behind the pulpit that sugar-coat the Gospel and stray off from preaching the exact word of God, nor was afraid to tell parishioners the truth of what God truly expects from His disciples. "In Pursuit of God" is not only one of his best books, but possibly one of the best books ever written about God and His nature..

For growth for general Christians, there is a rich array such as Andrew Murray, A.W.Tozer, C.S.Lewis, Charles Swindoll, John MacArthur, Charles Stanley, Max Lucado, Rick Warren, Lee Strobel, Josh McDowell, Philip Yancey and many others...

Christians, let's visit and shop in the local Christian stores as often as possible! They are a real treasure house. Let's get every gift of all occasions purchased there, not just books. Christian writings on everyday stuff and inside the home interior are true blessings!

Christians, both young and old, should read the Bible everyday and the whole thing at least every several years. Reading with devotionals such as "Daily Bread" helps, but it's the Bible text itself that ultimately speaks to human souls.

For youth, "My Heart Christ's Home" and "Manga Messiah" are recommended. ^^

"Knowing God" by J.I.Packer and "My Utmost for His Highest" by Osward Chambers are forever! Personally, I recommend the autobiography of St.Therese of Lisieux. "Portable Seminary" is good, too.
