Touching Video About Adoption - John Schlitt: The Grafting

  • 2012-05-29T14:40:41

As a Birthmom who reunited with my beautiful girl, her family who I adore, my new grandson by her, my wonderful joy of holding that baby boy and knowing the God has brought everything full circle, I am so blessed by the love of adoption. I placed my girl because I loved her, she came back because God loves me too.

Since I am adopted this hit home and made me cry the first time through. I also have been listening to your older stuff, great music.

That is an amazing video and song. As a 29 year old who was adopted, it was a very touching video. I have not gotten to meet my birth mother, but I am thankful to her every day of my life. Thank you for putting that message out to the public. God bless!

Made me shed some tears too - beautiful song John. My wife and I could not have a child of our own and eventually we adopted an amazing little baby boy. We hope some day he will meet his birth-mom...when we travel to the Philippines :-) The song and video are both very well done!

A very selfless sacrifice, Melissa.

That's a wonderful story... I wish all adoptions turned out like this!

That was my whole idea behind the song - to honor the birthmother and their tremendous sacrifice in giving away their child so he can have a better life.

Thank you so much.... the video seems to have this effect on many people. Andrew Manzano, director, did an amazing job. And the Lord did a much more amazing thing for us!

There is no sorry for the biological mother. I am one. It was a painful decision, but what a blessing he is to his adoptive parents, and what an opportunity it was for me to grow, get married and finally have children in a marriage. I met him now and he is awesome. And I have an adoptive family that not only adopted my son, but me and my entire family. What an awesome God we have! He made it so we are all so dependent on each other! Forgiveness and love are the keys.
