This quiet, intimate version of Laura's brilliant song makes it all the more powerful. May the Lord help those who are struggling to see their hardships from this perspective...and folks like me who have an easier time to praise Him for that and petition Him on behalf of others.

Reminds me of something I saw on my way home from my Friday job at the church, a boy about 7 or 8 was holding on for all his might behind his dad on a full dress Harley. Dad was so cautious, and the boy wasn't scared at all, he just held on. I think that's what God wants us to do, just hold on, let him do the driving. He's got us, and will get us safely where he wants us!

I love this song and cry everytime I hear it. So practical and true! In my life my hubby and I suffered through infertility for four years wondering WHERE IS GOD? God WAS there. HIS choice of blessings to our lives came to our lives by way the adoption of our three beautiful boys. Thank you Laura for speaking the truth of God's word in a way that many of us can understand because we've been there or in a way that tells those of us who are going through it that God will filter these trials and there is purpose! PTL!

Thank-you for this song, Laura. When I first heard this on the radio, I was so touched. This is one of those songs that we can sing to our Lord in our lowest moments. Yet with great joy, we can also sing....this world is not our home. Bless you as you continue to sing for the Lord.

Laura, Thanks so much for this song. I was sitting here crying and feeling like maybe God no longer cared for me. I have been through so many trials in the last 3 years and am overwhelmed. Then I had the thought to get on God Tube. And there you were singing exactly the words God wanted me to hear. I thank God for the Blessing I have just received through you. Don't will never know how many lives God will touch through your music. God Bless You.

I love it too, Sue. I remember the first time I heard it -- on the radio while driving and I thought, "Oh, my goodness that's good!" ... gonna share, I had emailed it to my daughter and right after her friend asked if she had heard it.
