The approach to the subject in this video is entirely theological, and while it has some merit, it is inadequate to the subject at hand. The topic of evolution must be split into two classes: 1. Micro evolution 2. macro evolution Micro evolution is the set of theories which tries to explain how we got here from some lucky spark in the primordial ooze. Only those brainwashed by various methods of schooling believe in these sets of theories. DNA, irreducible complexity, protein synthesis and many other discoveries have indeed shut these down, yet they continue to be promoted by scientific authorities as real facts and alignment with these theories determines what funding thy receive. Macro evolution on the other hand has been proven to be real and effective for spreading of species. Noah, it has been estimated, could carry up to 18,000 species onto the ark. Natural selection of already available traits allows these species to propagate and multiply into many as many as ten million or more today. Each species though is still only able to be a variation of its own kind. No new creatures arise that are totally unique in their own blueprint. God's rule of each being born of it;s own kind still holds. God has used macro evolution to bring a huge variation of His creatures fro us to see and learn from if we dig into what He has hidden for us. WE should not fear the word evolution, like the Darwinians fear the phrase intelligent design. We should embrace what God has hidden for us to reveal His glory and learn what theories are true and what are not.

I would like to hear you break down what you mean by evolution. Do you mean natural selection, or survival of the fittest? Do you believe in the sovereignty of God? He made it all by the word of his mouth. He planned and created every detail. Did he do it by starting and continuing evolution? We know that he made all plants and animals with seed within itself. Did he allow mutations? Were mutations a result of the fall of man? Did mutations result from the sons of God knowing the daughters of man? Do mutations occur when God sends a curse to punish a person or group of people? There are many questions to explore and we may not be able to find answers for them all. Please also consider that many persons become Christians after they have already had considerable instruction in the theory of evolution and others study evolution in school and have no guide to help them sort out these ideas. Thus they may hold views that conflict with religious views. Not everyone is concerned with understanding how to resolve such conflicts. One reason is that science is constantly changing with further study, it is not a finished or fixed form of knowledge, so why worry about how it may be conflicting with Scripture. Let it be. God knows and someday we will know, too.

Any evolution is a compromise. How do you understand the words of Jesus on the Flood, of Paul on the First Adam and the last Adam. God said he took 6 24 hours days. I believe it.

I am a very conservative minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Believing in Jesus is everything. I believe that Jesus talked about the importance of what Moses had written when He said. "You do not believe the things that Moses has written, so you will not believe what I tell you." Jesus believed what Moses wrote: "For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them. And on the seventh day He rested." Who would I trust more with a history lesson than the One who was there at the beginning?

Progressive, Theistic evolution compromise the integrity of scripture. In the case of Progressive one can embrace long ages and co-exist with evolution. Theistic evolution compromises specific scriptures in the Bible. I think Nate Meiers expresses it well.

If you bellieve in God you need to believe in the whole truth in what the bible says from beginning to end.

Didn't Christians beat the Darwinians already long ago? Isn't it why the atheists are attacking the historic Christianity( yes, the only sane and truly vital beneficial belief system on earth) rather than arguing in the field of natural science? Those Darwinians are so spiritual and religious what they claim is anything but natural science. Darwinians, the believers in macro evolution, believe that nothing(open space) has tendency to create something as complex as the present universe, against every known scientific law. The Bible teaches God created everything out of nothing. In the bottom line, it's nothingness vs. God. Atheists believe and trust in nothingness( no wonder they are all so futile), but Christians trust in the one true living God.

God is the Creator, period. Whatever has or will be is up to Him. I don't try to confuse it with anything else such as evolution, the dinosaurs, etc. God is the Source.

Does theistic evolution require death before sin? Yes, millions of years of trillions of deaths before the first soul was created. Does the Bible teach that death is a result of sin? Yes, most directly in Romans 5, but also in other places. Therefore, the Bible teaches that death comes after sin and therefore you cannot believe in theistic evolution and believe Romans 5. Can you be a Christian and not believe Romans 5 is true? I guess that is the real question.

John Sheppard Jr got me interested in evolution. He made some EXTREMELY intelligent and well-thought out points about evolution. Since then, and because of him, I've done some reading about it. If you want to read a GREAT book about it, get I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH FAITH TO BE AN ATHEIST, by Norman Geisler.

God is the creator of everything - all life forms on this planet, other planets and all other inanimate things. Different forms of life exist throughout the Universe, Earth planet is not the only planet where there is life.
