Have to agree with Ali...not having a relationship with the people in church doesn't mean you don't have a relationship with God. If that were the case then Abraham would not have been called a friend of God because there was no church at that time to attend. As for the churches today I don't know of any that work on the principles set forth in the bible where each individual comes and operates as the Holy Spirit leads them in the gifts they have been given...one with a song, a teaching, a tongue, a revelation, an interpretation, etc (1 Cor 14:26)...where every member does their part. Churches today have one member (the pastor) or a select group of elite few who minister. If only one member or only a few members are operating how can that body even be alive. If I sit in my recliner and never operate anything but one member (maybe the pinky) or a few members (the big toe, the pinky, and maybe the eylid) my body will be dead in three days because I'm not taking in food and water. If the local churches aren't operating the way God intended then they are not being led of God so can one really say they are of God? And would one want to be a part of something that is not of God? The true church is the vine in which we abide in by faith...it isn't contained in four walls. I also agree with the OP...he made some valid points.

It's hard to find a good Bible teaching church. Seems like ministries are trying to make Gods word and Christ teachings something different then what the Bible actually says. I think it's called apostasy and it will get worse and worse until there is a one world religion. We know this because the Bible says so and the Bible is filled with facts that have happened and facts that WILL happen. Gods prophesies are never wrong.

Exactly Kennie......Sounds like people have strayed away from what God expects of His people. BTW for everyone else on Godtube.....Holy doesn't mean perfect....

I am so sorry for what has happened to you in the Churches you have been to. Remember we all need to fight the Goliaths in our lives like David did. We have to be strong and overcome judgement and betrayal just like Mary and Joseph did. Take the time to read your Bible and it will all start to make sense. God wants us to be couragous and wants us to flourish. Think positive and know that God has a plan for all of us and if someone or something is interfering let go and leave it at the cross. Pray and ask God for wisdom and strength to get you though. You are never alone.

Lisa M. Hankins - that is such a wonderful idea. If you were in my area you would have a ride from me or any other number of people that attend my church. to April - may God hear your prayers to be able to return to a church near you and welcome you in their home. Remember "ask and ye shall receive". Also, remember we are not there to worship the building or the people in it, rather the God that gives up the mercy and grace to have a relationship with Him and His precious Son, Jesus. Many blessings to you in the days to come. Never give up!

I'm wondering what makes you think Stan has turned away from God and therefore needs to find his way back? While fellowship is an important aspect of faith, I don't think lack of fellowship with other Christians implies lack of relationship with God. For several months my "church" was going to the mountains with my husband and reading the Bible together. I can tell you I felt much closer to God digging into Scripture in the midst of God's creation than I do sitting passively in a pew and listening to someone preach.

If you were in my area, I would go way out of my way to pick you up. Try calling churches and see if someone will pick you up. People used to drive over 20 miles one way just to pick my kids and I up for church then take us home.

Everywhere Jesus went he was casting out demons. I'm convinced the church today is petting or pandering to demons. Let us call it like it is. I'd rather have 100 holy members than 900 lukewarm compromisers.

I lost everything a home, car, and all my worldly possessions. I have been telling the lord how much I miss church but no car to get there. So life happened and I can no longer get there. So I find solace watching Godtube to get church to me.

I would like to say how sorry I am that you were hurt and offended, and Angela's right don't give up on your relationship with the Lord because people offended you.The spirit of offense is what really ruins peoples lives and splits churches.People will fail you build your walk and let God deal with them who wronged you.I was offended and stayed out of church for 3 years because of a offense I went back and I will never allow a offense to ever keep me away from God ever again. I'm praying you find your way back to God:) bless you Stan!! God will never fail you:)

I agree with everything in this video. But I do not see it is a tool for an outreach in a specific community. It is more of a public announcement to make people think - well yes, I better try going to a church. To me to reach out to a community you first need to have a church that tries being accepting, inclusive, helping people in need,... Does your community have a church like that? Is your church like that? I think mine is. I am just afraid that it might be almost like a false advertizement if one generalizes it to all churches... I wonder what did the creators of the video have in mind - what kind of outreach, where?

well done:)

What I see below is exactly why many 'seekers' do not come to church, or stay once they tried, we can be so quick to judge someone else for what they did, but so slow to see what we ourselves do that is just as sinful or worse. This video is only to help warm the un-churched to the idea of church as a body. Not to say all churches are this way or that way, or to promote universal ism. When I viewed the video, I was thinking, "Is my church accepting to everyone?" If they don't come in, they may not hear the Gospel and see how it is lived out.

I see your point Dawn. However, according to this video I am a "hypocrite" and it's okay if you're a hypocrite too just come to church and it'll all be ok. You're sin is fine we all sin and you should do nothing to get it out of your life. Wrong! For that specific reason I do not support this video. Sorry

This video is targeted to an audience that has these reasons not come to church. It is to remove barriers to coming to church. It is not about getting the entire message of the Word out in a single video nor was it focused on those who know Christ. Peace people.
