Hello Sheryl; God bless and comfort you and your family. My Son was twenty six. It sounds so young and is but, God gave us twenty six great years with him. As you and your family, we will be with them again. Cherish the good times and he will always be beside you. A moth after Daniel's passing as sure as there is a Sun that comes up, He spoke to my heart the following; Dad when I was there with you, you took care of us, he has two brothers, Joshua and Joseph, and provided for us as best you could but, you had limitations. Dad with God there are no limitations. One more thing Dad, Don't forget to tell everyone about the power of God to change lives. I could visualize D. as if he was checking into a new school. To some this may sound silly or way out. I feel for them. But God became real to me in 75. He's not some dreamed up person of religion. God is real, God is a spirit and he communes with His people. Jesus said," My sheep hear my voice". We are not like some that worship statues or false religions. They can't speak, they can't move about. God said I will never leave or forsake you. He always goes before His people. Daniel and the lions den, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, in the furnace. If God hadn't been there they would have been consumed. We have the real God. JEHOVAH-JIREH, The Lord provides, our provider. God bless you and all yours. In Him. Ron.

It has been absolutely the longest month of our lives without a doubt. When I posted this I didn't realize or even think that anyone would read it. I was just merely crying out in agony for the loss of my heart, my oldest son, all 3 of my children have grown up without a father to show them the right ways & what God wants for them. My son struggled all his life with sadness of his parents divorce @ 10, depression, anxiety, taking care of his father that was & is addicted to narcotic pain meds, he was his fathers dad so unfairly. He watched as I, his mother was hurt tremendously by his dad, and his little sisters dad. He was the closest thing his siblings had to a dad. He struggled with alot of bad choices, including drugs to numb his emptiness. He finally reconfirmed that God was the only way through any of it & found God's love & mercy. He had began to make a heart change & physical ones too, we just didn't get the opportunity to witness it. He loved his brother, sister & I with every breath he took. He had the biggest heart of anyone I had ever met. He passed away in his sleep and we still haven't got any answers, was it drugs, was it a heart attack, asthma, sleep apnea, we do not know all we do know is he is gone & the emptiness is huge for all of us. I know that he is in heaven & I will see him again but it is all so hard for us, I just wanted to say to all of you, THANK YOU so much for reaching out to us in God's love & sending comfort to us. I have cried as I have read each post and as I re read them, it has been a monumental blessing to know that so many people are praying for us. May God Bless EACH of you & I hope when I do get to heaven that I can meet each of you. Please continue to pray for my son Bradlie & daughter Natalie. We have never through all of our trials felt anything so devastating. Thank you all once again & thank God for Casting Crowns musical ministry that has impacted so many for the kingdom of God <3 Sheryl

I lost my son at 18. I am soooooooo sorry for your loss. I was very fortunate to have a husband who was a great father and led my son to the Lord at age 6. I agree totally. May the Lord be with you as you walk through this valley. He will give you peace and sustain you. I will pray that you will feel HIM holding you real tight. Romans 8

I love your message and pray that those that are thinking of abandoning their role as a Father pray about this and make the right choice. I will pray for you those that are struggling and for you.
