During a low time in my life I was home by myself while my wife ran errands. I decided to check my email and this was there. As I listened to the message before the song I felt the Spirit of God fill the room and all I could do was fall on my face in worship to my God. Daddy really knows how to take care of his kids.

My favorite Gospel song of all time. The man who wrote the words to this song experienced such loss. Horatio Spafford lost his son in a fire two years earlier in 1871. In the fall of 1873, his wife and four daughters were aboard a ship that sank. Only his wife survived.

it is just a perfect timing when I click this song that I needed most the peace and comfort from our Almighty God. Thank you so much! I love this song very much! I admired Wintley Phipps singing this beautiful old hymn.

My father passed away Feb 24th and tomorrow would have been my parents 60th wedding anniversary. This song lifted my heart today. My Dad was a country gospel singer. Thank you for posting this beautiful old hymn sang with such conviction.

Heard this coming from another faculty's office and just sent chills down my back....what an amazing blessing! This was my late husbands favorite song and just flooded my heart with hope, precious memories and an assurity that it was well with his soul and we will be united someday because of that Hope in Christ!

I am going through some rough times and I just happened to have this arrive in my email this morning and after listening to it, I feel that God has to be responsible for sending me this email.
