Stuff Christian Singles Hear

Could you add subtitles to this so I can share this to my deaf Christian friends. :)

be happy either way. Marriage is what single people want to get into and married people want to get out of! There are plusses and minuses in both. When you are single you can please yourself, come and go as you like, buy what you like, live where you like, choose your own friends or none. Travel overseas, work or not work, study or not. On and on. It might be a little lonely, but go visit your mum and dad, siblings or friends. Catch a movie. Marriage is good but can be hard too. You have to please your spouse, children, in-laws. Cook for your family, clean up after them, put them through school, college etc and keep them fed and clothed but you also get rewarded with the joy of having great kids, a good spouse, fabulous grandies etc. It's about 50/50 I reckon. Try to be happy in whatever 'state' you find yourself. Above all enjoy life.

I think I heard every one of these when I was single and I'll bet I've tortured my single friends with a number of these since. I hope this gets shared far and wide. This guy is hilarious....

lol I have heard many of them like you know in heaven there is no marriage and that is it better to be single than married.

The reality of what marriage is: EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. Sex and love have little to do with each other. The best sex comes AFTER YOU HAVE BUILT THE TRUST AND OPENESS TO BE NAKED EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY! YOU CAN MARRY ANYONE as long as they are a believer (because having a family divided in faith waters down your commitment to God.) Man/Women have no greater love than a AGAPE love. Sacrificial love can be given to anyone and at anytime. But you have to be mature about everything in life. Don't be a doormat or a tyrant in your loving. Being single is also extremely difficult, all of life has it's difficulties, don't let the enemy divide the body of Christ, "there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for YOU ALL ARE ONE IN CHRIST JESUS." I was single for many years, I know about crippling loneliness and I went through long bouts of depression which I tried to ease with liquor, cigarettes and other things, I don't feel comfortable mentioning. Please don't lose hope, do you really know your own motivation for wanting a spouse? Examine your mind and heart, speak to married couples, but first speak to your father in heaven. I went through so many years so heartbroken and lonely, it's not just you! Disney, and visual and audio media in general target women in order to sell you things as women represent the main demographic who purchases things in America. The ideas of "one true love" and "love at first sight" are lies shaped like arrows pointed directly at the heart of women. Who really wants to be lonely? Both of those lies only create unrealistic expectations in the hearts of those who receive them. Find someone you get along well with who shares your basic doctrinal beliefs first and whose company is mostly pleasant. If you can get along with someone as a platonic friend, sometimes that can be a good starting point for a romantic relationship. Marriage isn't about pleasure fulfillment, your partner is there to serve you, YOU ARE THERE TO SERVE THEM, encourage each other in Christ, pray together, pray apart, have a personal devotional time and couples devotional time! I know it's hard, please don't lose hope!

iam single :) I don't mind it but sometimes I do want a girlfriend for a long time and she can become my wife :) that be NEATO! and a BLESSING! :)

I hear this a lot. I have been waiting a long time and I do have some one that I know that likes me a lot. But he's not a christian. But he is a really good friend of mine. I do pray to God to help me find some one.
