Tim Hawkins - Girls vs Boys

Adam Baker Christensen I respect how you feel but I also have to disagree. I mean, we show kids Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, or something along the lines of those. They use comedy similar to this. The thing about it is that yes you teach your kids hitting is, but when you watch something like this you educate them that it's just for laughs. Just like certain things might scare kids, you educate them that it isn't real. It's okay to laugh at ourselves and our sin-nature flaws.

Trish McCaulley McIntyre What scipture are you reading? It's obviously not the same Bible everyone else has been reading. And I was sharing my opinion, so don't "tell me how I am to act or believe..... thanks"

Katie Kraynik-Ivers I'm going scripture, in what we are to jest about..... please just express your opion and not tell me how I am to act or believe..... thanks

I have to disagree. Just because we laugh at this video doesn't mean kids are taught it's aright to hit. It's not like if a boy was really doing this to a girl we would all just sit around and laugh. Obviously it would be handled in the appropriate manner. He was joking about the funny things most kids do naturally. Not all, but most kids. Just take a chill pill and BREATHE.

Im sorry, my Dad is a pastor, and he happens to think this video is funny. He went to seminary, and has a drgree. He knows the bible. God loved children, he made them to do what they do. It may not be okay hitting each other, and of course it shouldnt be taught, but laughing at a child is natural. God made kids, he knows that little boys are made to someday grow up and be the protector of their home. But he first has to learn from mistakes, like learning to use his strength, and how to be that protector and man of the house. Let your brain explore...laugh a little. Its good for you.

Yes, I can find it endearing at times. That doesn't mean I laugh at it in front of the children, but teach what our Lord would have us teach them. Differences can be laughed at, without excepting the behavior. It's the exceptance that allows this hitting thing to grow, no matter who's doing the hitting.

I feel fine and can laugh at many things. This just isn't one of them... God gave us a sense of humor... but what does HIS Word say about humor? That is a the point some of us are trying to make.

Very well said Adam. This was my point, but you say it very well.
