Love it--i thank God that he gave me the opportunity to spend moments like this with my dad as a child and adult! miss you Dad lost him last year.
Love this movie and the song! Reminder to hug our kids today!
I love it! GOD is love!!!!!!!!!!
Love the song and video and I also love her shoes lol.
I smile and cry every time I hear or see this!
Beautiful!
This should have been put on the DVD. It's like an extended scene from the movie. Loved it.
Beautiful song and so touching!
I hope of more. And hope I can this see.
I pray that I always take the time to dance with those that I love and God has blessed me with.
That part of the movie made me think on all the times that I have to tell my children "not now, I'm busy". Not that I never pay attention to them, not that I don't play with them, and it's not that what I'm busy with is for myself (it is mostly something for them, like dinner). Yet, if I lost them at that moment I'll feel regret for not complying... I guess I spoil them rotten!
This song touched home. I shunned my father for many years. Then over Christmas decided to make amends, send a card, tell him he had a grandson. I received the card back only to find my father had passed months before. An important lesson learned...spend what ever time you have with your loved ones. Make the time...there's not always a tomorrow.
Everyday we can ask our Heavenly Father," Daddy dance with me." Oh how He adores His children. We can never get enough of His love and long to be in His presence. "How lovely is your dwelling place, LORD Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God." Psalm 84: 1-2.
I find that when I tilt my head back and stare intently at a spot on the ceiling it is occasionally possible to stem the eye-watering phenomenon! Mostly I just let the saline solution pool and discretely use a sleeve to absorb the overflow. Strangely the excessive' corneal-moistening' is inevitably follow by a flood of cathartic feelings and waves of peace.
This was a wonderful movie. Our Women's Ministry ladies attended it as soon as it was released in the theater nearest our church. I believe it is one of the best that Sherwood has produced yet..although I still love Facing The Giants. I think that the men should see this because it gives so much insight into a connection with their children. God we thank you for the love that you shared with us that we can share with others. Go see it or purchase it on DVD.
I was able to watch this movie recently and this part of the movie really struck a cord with me. We all really need to take the time to be there and build memories with our kids. I thank God everyday for the gift of my son. Also, I PRAISE God everyday for giving me the gift of having the little girl I placed for adoption 23 years ago back in my life. This is truly a testament to how we need to enjoy and be thankful for every minute we have with our kids.
