I love this, it's my hearts desire that all Christians would walk in Jesus' Holiness, for He is Holy... <3 ya nikki.

While I appreciated Pastor Lu's clear and lucid review of what I think are essential biblical insights, I continue to wonder about what might be consider a pat of the mysterium tremendum , tremendous mystery that God is: he is in us and reflected though us. But does that mean we actually sort of disappear? One of the first things Calvin grappled with in "The Institutes" is this issue: basically to know our self is crucial to knowing God and apart from knowing God, and that is in terms of intimate, experiential knowledge (distinct from head knowledge), then it is not possible to truly know our self. So Pastor Lu's comments also left me wondering if the idea of our "disappearing" or that while seeing the Lord in us people do not really see or experience us, then we have all the makings of an "abide in Christ which means disappearing in Christ" kind of mysticism or is the tremendous mystery that God is in our lives is that our real selves, completely embodied is what people do see while also beholding our transformed selves. What they see is that light of Christ in us shinning in and through our real personalities that God uses just like Jesus. Feedback solicited here.

It's right that God's desires for His children is that they should display God's holiness in their lives by renouncing evil and make their total surrender to Christ in His likeness.

Amazing! we really are set apart from all ungodliness when we dead on the cross and rise up with Christ...

Excellent! I would add that the pursuit of holiness is to become exactly who God made us to be.

Amen. God also manifests Himself through the truth of His Word today.
