I love it that this young man is not ashamed of his belief in Jesus Christ. Wouldn't it be awesome to see more genuine young people giving glory to the one who gave them talent - who gave them life?

Jesus Christ warned of such hypocrisies like this because this is similar to what the pretentious Scribes and Pharisees do, they kneel and pray in the open and in public so people will see how holy they are. God listens to those humble people who commune with him in private with sincerity. On the other hand, this is spiritual pride is a product of the ego and by no means spiritually acceptable. When you pray why not do it in a less distracting way?
This young man is the role model the world needs! The critics, hecklers and haters are precusors to what all Christians will have to deal with in the very near future. My prayer is that he continues to stand for what he believes!

I'm not sure I fully grasped the concept of "planking" or "owling", but I know that this "Tebowing" somewhat upsets me. Tim Tebow is living a life surrendered to Christ, and his now well known kneeling pose is something that as Christians we should be doing ourselves, not merely imitating for fun but out of complete desperation for God. Now I might have been taking the heart of "Tebowing" wrong, but just watching the affect it's having is just breaking my heart. I'm sure that Tim Tebow's heart wasn't to generate a new pose for the world to model, but instead to be promoter of living a Christ-like life.
Why do people find it funny to mock someone who is giving thanks to his Lord? I personally find this fad appalling. Its hard enough to be a Christian athlete, its even harder to be one when everyone is mocking you.
