I'm 48 and I am still listening to heavy christian rock. I also listen to worship. I have read numerous comments about this song, and quite frankly, the negative comments are exactly why Christianity isn't working today. We have people who are judging, condemning, and harsh. Where is the love of Christ? David danced before the Lord, in a loin cloth, with loud accompanying instruments, and danced all the way to the temple, miles from where he started. For David, it was about love, love in his heart towards God. It all comes down to this: we are in the last of the last days. People of God need to get back to what Jesus preached; love, acceptance, peace, and worship. Inclusion of everyone. This is what being a Christ follower is all about. They will know you by your love! One Christ, crucified, risen, coming again. No denominations, no sects, no harsh judgements, only love. We all learn differently, we all worship differently, what really matters are the words glorifying God? I think we should all jump around, worshiping God with all our hearts. And, no matter the age, nationality, creed, or skin color, we are all children of the most high God, and that's something. I can be found at alphaomegacounselinginc.com if anyone wants to get to know me or with me or my views. Also at alphaomegacounseling on face book.

This song sounds like a wake up call to the American people to save this glorious Country of ours which is founded in Christianity. I love it!

After looking at the lyric to the song, I think it is a song about revival! "One man wakes, awakens another. Second one wakes his next door brother. Three awake can rouse a town. And turn the whole place upside down. Many awake will cause such a fuss. It finally awakes all of us. One man wakes with dawn in his eyes. Surely then it multiplies. Surely then it multiplies. This shows what one person can do, in chirst. Revival starts with us: Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay.

I am 49 yrs old.... I have been a Christian for over 30 yrs - let me change that - I have been a follower of Jesus Christ. I have heard amazing music and have worked in ministry. This music touches my soul and lifts my heart in praise. This is what worship is intended for. Not be be analyzed but to be lifted up on the gossamer wings of praise. There are no age limits. This is an invitation - an invitation to worship! All we have to do is open our hearts - the spirit will do the rest.

Surely, we've problems understanding today's Christianity. Indeed Jesus gave all of us the Great Commission and this is manifested thru the various gifts and talents we've. But if Christians fail to use their talents to CLEARLY tell the world about Jesus, then it is just sickening! Please, Lee carry on but mention Jesus clearly next time in your songs. The Bible says, every one tongue must CONFESS JESUS as Lord. And, it starts with you, Lee!

If you watch the intro to this song you would fully understand the heart and passion of this beautiful song. This is a call to the church to wake up and I think it starts with unity in the body. If we cannot get along how do we expec to reach anyone for Christ. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Nt02YOQVfE&feature=related

I'm not on here to start controversy by any means, but the comments about this video are really aggravating. This is a beautiful song, it excites me, it makes me want to jump around and sing praises to God, even the "ooohh" in this song are beautiful to God's ears. God doesn't tell us that the music we listen to has to be what they listened to when Jesus walked the Earth. In this video you have fellow Christian's coming together praising God, and if you're going to nitpick the beat, melody, sound whatever you want to call it, you're never going to reach the generation of today, trust me, I'm in that generation. If you want to get a nonbelievers attention, a lot of times (notice I said a lot of times) you have to go for a sound that's going to be catchy and make others want to listen to it. The Lord is glorified in the raising of voices, and gathering of Christians, and the playing of God given talents. If you take the time to watch the people in the video, they are praising God, either by just standing there with their eyes closed just basking in the presence of God, or with their arms raised. God doesn't tell us that we have to sing things like "Lord, you're beautiful" <--which is a beautiful song, I encourage you to listen to it, by Hillsong. Sure that's great and all, by all means, go for it! but if our hearts are in the right place, simply repeating a phrase over and over or doing as they're doing in this video singing "ooohh" to the top of their lungs is music to God's ears. He says make a joyful noise, that's what they're doing. There has been times I've been at a worship service and we have just sat there singing "oohh" and soon everyone was up jumping around praising God, dancing for him, glorifying him, and I know my Papa loved it, and looks forward to singing with me. I know not all people will understand or want to accept or believe what I've said, and I'm fine with that, but I wanted to just let people know that coming from an 18 year old that's in training to be a missionary and a worship leader that I would play this in a heartbeat and just watch how God moves. Again this is not to start anything, God bless mate♥.

Leeland is incredible. What on earth do we Christians really need? Its not just a pop band, its reaching out to Ugandans like me.How incredible it is to know that Leeland is winning souls everywhere.Americans, stop bragging and pausing in and around church coz if Leeland was Ugandan Africa would be jubilating more in the lord.It has never been easy to be a singer more so a church sing coz they might end up calling u fanatic or a holy roller.I LOVE LEELAND AND AM PROUD TO KNOW THIS BAND.

they actually just played at my college and the background to this song is it was an actual poem written during the time of the Great Awakening... a period of time where whole towns turned to God, and whoever wrote this poem were describing what they were seeing going on at this time.
