Christian Church did the best and the most vital things for everyone all over the world throughout the history ever since her birth. The only truly good and redeeming force on earth. The world would not have had even a proper conscience without her. Everything we have as structured sanity comes from the Bible-literate Christianity since the ancient Israel failed to educate us all, the barbaric mankind. The Western Civilization has not much worth without the Christianity. It'd have been just like the rest and have stayed that way.

Because the church history is a part of God's testimony to humanity and to the creation world as well. It is not necessary to gain salvation, but one misses out a REAL GREAT DEAL if he doesn't study it and may start ranting ignorant and absurd anti-church rhetoric, plunging into deadly theological errors as the result. Ignorance only hurts, never builds up.
