The debate is on woman's authority over man in church. It's none, unless the man is an unbeliever. Then he needs some help from a believer, be it man, woman, or a child.

preaching the Gospel and having authority to preach and hold spiritual authority in the Church is not the same thing. 1Tim2:11-14 makes it very clear.

Edmund, dear man: Did you actually read Galatans 3 before you posted your remarks? And, did you even listen to the video? Mary was on target. So, where in this world do you get the idea Gal 3:28 is about 'equality and priviledge to preach', unless you are simply attempting a VERY uneven segue. This has nothing to do with cultural trends, habits or norms. And it really had nothing to do with females exercising a privilege or authority to preach or teach men. So, may we assume or conclude that you have a 'squared-out pet peeve' and since it won't fit in the rounded (w)hole of scriptures, you will just pound away at it? Respectfully

It is easy to understand. I don't get the debate over it. It clearly is saying Christ is not discriminating. We are all his if we have faith and accept Him as our Savoir. By believing in Him we are all part of Abraham's seed and are heirs to the Kingdom. Simple as that!

Men and women are equal before God, but men and women have different roles. Women have no spiritual authority over believing grown men. Women must not be ordained. The leadership has been always masculine both in Church and in Heaven as far as the Holy Bible is concerned. Disobedient churches run into erroneous theology and practically cause the decline of Christianity.

Woman can preach the Gospel but she has no spiritual authority over man according to God's Word, therefore woman should not pastor a church unless it's all under-age children.

Thank you for your theology !

The meaning of scripture must mean the exact same as when it was written. Anything different would be doctrine of men. Since its clear you aren't investigating the meaning of the words in the original language it gives room to proclaim everything besides what the Word communicates. Do you know what the Spirit does? Where does the Spirit dwell? You cited Mt28:7 "..go quickly, and tell" Are you honestly trying to saying that this means Preach? Your OT text would be all together a different context which is in Hebrew. How can you make an application of what the text says if you don't even know what the words in the original language mean? To understand the prophesy of Joel I would recommend studying "sons of God" ands "naughty the men"

I will pour out My Spirit on your sons and daughters.....Joel 2:28. What are the women to do with the Spirit ? Are they to cook with Him or to preach with Him ?

I know there're some who can't stand women preachers, but women were the first to preach the gospel of the resurrection to the men who were hiding behind closed doors ! Matt 28:7

Does that text in Galatians3 really say that? Is it not talking about Faith vs Law? Taking a text out of the context is Isogesis. But if you want to really investigate the topic of women preacher in corporate worship isn't biblical. If you want do an etymology of the greek words for Preacher, Minister, Bishop & you'll find that they are masculine nouns that can only describe a man. This I know is true to the same manner that you wouldn't address a woman as a 'Mister' or a man as 'Miss'.

Twist and turn as we will, women have equal privileges to preach the gospel!
