The Mormos also believe from the Golden Tabletthat Joseh Smith supposedly received that Satan and Jesus were equal Gods with 2 different approachs to Salvation.

If Jesus was not God, then His sacrifice on the cross for us was not perfect. He was not an unblemished, spotless Lamb. His death was not enough to save us. Our salvation is then incomplete, and the only hope of salvation we are left with are our good works. All we are left with is a works religion, hoping we are good and moral enough to please God and get into Heaven. But my hope is in Jesus Christ. His sacrifice WAS enough. His work on the cross was enough. He finished my salvation, not me. He is the Author and Finisher.

The true test is whether one believes in the redeeming death and resurrection. But be warned, that will be judged by God and not foolish man.
