I cried one time when I ordered some Evie cassettes from the Christian bookstore in the little city I had moved to -- because they were able to get them for me.

I named my youngest daughter Evie. I bought every Evie cassette & sang the songs over & over. My husband had a hearing loss & with his hearing aids, the high voice of Evie & myself bothered him. LOL. My daughter Evie has a lilting, little-girl voice.

I grew up in the same church as Evie. You think she can sing, you think the presence of God is upon her, it is, however you should have heard her Mom! Her Mom, Inga would play the guitar and Evie would stand next to her behind the pulpit on a metal folding chair as they both sang together. Then the presence of God would fall. She has talent, but more than talent. She allows herself to be filled with the Holy Spirit and then allows that to flow out to those around. She's a precious lady!

We remember the sweet and tender and honest melodies and airs from Evie........I will never be the same again.....NEVER THE SAME AGAIN! GLORY!
