‘Where’s The Line To See Jesus?’ – Christmas Song Will MOVE You!

  • 2013-12-21T16:12:46

What a powerful, beautiful reminder, when we see all the lights, the joy sparkling in the eyes of the children, the Christmas tree in the center of town, hear the carolers singing, of what Christmas truly is! Thank God for the most Priceless, Precious Gift, HIS only Son! Emanuel! The Saviour of a lost, & broken world had come! Celebrate!!!!

This song by Becky really puts the Season in perspective, We went to the Mall last week and really enjoyed watching the children get excited about Santa and the lights and decorations. WE asked ourselves, how great it would be to have a real life Manger scene there as well and see how big the line ups would be. We can only pray that next year a mall will have the courage to do this. WE can help by getting active early and asking the powers to be to include a Manager scene as well, what is the old saying "Nothing ventured, nothing gained." Let's at least try and bring JESUS BACK TO THE REAL REASON FOR THE SEASON. Bob and Lloyd.

I do need a prod in the right direction and this is my prod. Christmas is so much more than "mistletoe and wine" and who got me what for a present. Christmas is the most important day of the year. It should help you to love and respect your fellow man/woman and hopefully Charge our love well into the new year that is approaching. Thank you. Do you know where I could find the Lyrics please?

Actually Marilyn, Jesus was born in the spring - NOT the summer as you suggest. It was sometime during the springtime that the sheep are birthing their lambs, the time when the shepherds were out tending their flocks as they grazed on the new growth of grass. It really doesn't matter WHEN he was born - what matters is the FACT that he was born. His birth would still be celebrated if the major consensus to change Christmas to March 9th was made. The date of the celebration of his birth isn't really the important issue here. People lose sense of the fact that they should be celebrating his birth EVERY day, not on only one day a year. Do you give or accept Christmas gifts on the Dec 25th date? If you don't celebrate the birth (not the birthday) of Jesus on that date, it's pretty pointless to give or accept gifts from or to others, don't you think.

I really should listen to this year round rather than just at Christmastime. Powerful reminder of which line we should be in.

I heard this song last year. It is making a good point. After all it is His birthday. We should celebrate him more.
