Boy Goes to Heaven and Lives to Tell About It - Heaven Is Real Boy Now in 8th Grade

Tom Price: There is plenty of evidence of miracles in the Bible. What we don't see, is people dying and then going to Heaven, and then returning to tell of their experience. Remember when Jesus said in John 1:18 (KJV) 18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. Jesus is saying that no man has seen God and returned to tell about it. Now we do have evidence of prophets who were alive and they saw visions of Heaven and described what they saw, but that's not what this boy experienced. The texts you quoted(Dan. 12:2; Jn. 5:28-29; Rev. 20:4-6, 11-15) all deal with two separate resurrections. The first occurs at Jesus' second coming, and the second happens after the millenium. Why would you want this same body to be brought to heaven when God tells us we will have a glorified body(1 Corinthians 15:42-54)? You said that the soul is immortal. Then why does the scriptures tell us that only God has immortality? 1 Timothy 1:17 (KJV) 17Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 6:16 (KJV) 16Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. In fact, the Bible says that the soul is NOT immortal. Ezekiel 18:4 (KJV) 4Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. You quoted Matthew 10:28 (KJV) which tells us: 28And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. How do you justify Revelation 20:13-15 (KJV) which says, 13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. The souls of the unrighteous die the second death, meaning that they cease to exist(Psalm 21:9,37:20,37:38,92:7,101:8,145:20, Proverbs 10:29,13:13,19:9, Isaiah 1:28, Malachi 4:1,3, Matthew 3:12,13:30, Luke 13:3, John 3:16, Philippians 3:19, 2 Thessalonians 1:9-10,2:10, 1 Timothy 6:9, Hebrews 6:8,10:27, 2 Peter 2:12, Revelation 20:9, etc) The righteous and the unrighteous stay in the grave until their appointed resurrection which I quoted in my original post. I encourage you to check out and to learn exactly what the Bible says about death and what happens afterward.

I fully believe that what your family experienced was real. The same happens when we dream. We believe that during the dream, everything is real. This is because the logic system in our brain shuts down throughout the dream. During a Near Death Experience, there is a lack of oxygen in the brain which causes hallucinations. So unless God spoke directly through the dream or hallucination and it confirms with what the Bible says, we must discard it as vain thoughts and experiences.

My mother had a near death experience, and she said she looked down at her body and recalled everything that was going on. She said somebody was with her, and was comforting her.she felt nothing but peace. I'm pretty sure my mother is not a liar. And same situation happened to my brother in law, again I don't believe hes a liar. Of coarse people are going to be skeptical, because they have not experienced it first hand. I too am always looking for answers, even though I know my family, and they are not story tellers. I guess that's why they call it FAITH.

2 Cor. 5:8. I have always believed that what Paul was saying in this verse and those around it is this. That to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. In other words when we pass from this life in an instant we will be present with God in heaven. When Paul, who had visited the throne of God (2 Cor. 12:2-4), claimed that it was better by far to be away from the body and in the presence of the Lord (Phil. 1:23), he was speaking from experience and I don’t think he would have said that about sleeping. If you read the book before you actually judge it, you will see they are in no way replacing Jesus with Heaven. Jesus is glorified and magnified and given glory for preparing a wonderful place for us to be with him one day.

I agree completely with you and it was my first thought. We can only get to Heaven thru Jesus Christ for He is the way.

Why do we believe this kid and not the people in the Bible who died and were resurrected. Elijah resurrected the widow's son in 1 Kings 17:21-22, a man was resurrected for touching the dead bones of Elisha in 2 Kings 13:20-21, Jesus claims to have resurrected people in Matthew 11:5, and who can forget about Jesus resurrecting Lazarus in John 11:43? All of these people were raised from the dead and none of them told us anything about heaven, nor about hell for that matter. Why? Because the Bible tells us that when people die, they enter a dreamless sleep(Psalm 13:3), we are 'seperated' from God(Psalm 88:5), we won't praise God(Psalm 115:17), we won't know anything(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6,10), and we can't sin(Romans 6:7). But the Bible doesn't leave us hopeless. It tells us that the righteous will resurrect to everlasting life(Daniel 12:2), we won't be left in the grave(Psalm 49:15), and God will call out our name(John 5:28). When will this happen if not at the time of death? It will be when the heavens are destroyed(Job 14:12-14), on the last day(John 11:23-26), and at Jesus' second coming(1 Corinthians 15:20-23, 51-53). We don't need any 'new' information about the state of the dead nor about whether Heaven is real. Al Rocker said that we find comfort in this story. Shouldn't we find comfort in what the Bible says and let that be enough? Even King David McKee isn't in Heaven yet. Acts 2:29,34 (KJV). Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. [34] For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

The Mother mentions Jesus name once in passing but all the rest is about how Heaven changes you and the "gospel of Heaven". How can Jesus be replaced by Heaven?

  • 2012-10-10T12:51:33

To believe there's no heaven or GOD is to have have faith int the wrong ideas out there.
