Fallen Soldier is Carried Home by an Angel - a Beautiful Veterans Tribute

The C-130 is a workhorse of an aircraft around for decades... This tribute is not about the song or the aircraft - but a beautiful slide show as a tribute to soldiers and veterans this weekend... especially those who we normally wait until Memorial Day to remember their ultimate price. Some of my pilot friends and my USAF student pilots flew "the Herc" and I never stopped to think of what a quiet, long flight it must be for those cargo pilots who fly our fallen home one last time as...it is so powerfully portrayed in this video and with the lyrics of this song - Well Done! Additionally - a great spiritual reminder of a Lord and Savior who "paid the price" for our eternal freedom. Amen.

The hearts of the American people should forever beat in thankfulness for our Soldiers who sacrifice their lives for the freedom of ours. Welcome home brothers and sisters, I Thank You for your service and I shall never forget the sacrifices made or your life surrendered....Welcome home. Our youngest, David, is currently at Ft. Sill, Okla for basic training, following in the footsteps of 2 siblings and his Father, Grandfather & Great-Grand Father... We pray to God that he NEVER gets to take the Angel Flight home! God Bless all of those that have & thier families, to say we appreciate your sacrifice is not enough... May our Commander in Chief keep all of you in mind as he makes decisions that affect us all... God Bless America! Remember, you may not like them but please PRAY for our leaders!

Thinking of Jonathan Stroud, Mavis Mavis Ann Crawford Stroud, Lacey and Marissa. Veteran's day is especially hard for them because Lacey and Jon were married on Veteran's Day 2008. He was killed, July 30, 2009.

This is a very beautiful video. As a member of the Patriot Guard, I have the honor of welcoming these heroes home, and protecting their families. Usually, they will fly a friend home with our hero, and when you speak with them, they will say that thank yous are not necessary, we are just doing our job! Please respect and honor them!

Yes, the video does speak about the fallen heros that died so we can all have freedom. I don't want to belittle this, but we need to start thinking about who the real heal is... Jesus. He paid the ultimate price for our sins, and over come death. He is the pilot of the angel flight bringing us all home. There are many examples in this world of how Love and kindness and following a different path have resulted in people giving their lives, and as a result of the impact of their time here on earth have brought many others to Jesus.

This video was awesome. Our men and women in harms way are our greatest treasure right now. And we rewarded them with another 4 years of disrespect. I ache for our soldiers and their families.
