Amazing Grace Battle Hymn Of The Republic. Bringing In The Sheaves. Draw Me Nearer. Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior. Faith Of Our Fathers. Holy, Holy, Holy. I Come To The Garden Alone. It Is Well With My Soul. Joy To The World. We'Re Marching To Zion. Nearer, My God, To Thee. Rock Of Ages. Shall We Gather At The River. What Child Is This. I am a huge fan of old and new Christian music, as for the critics here, see the list...non of these old hymns have the name JESUS in them, but we all know what is being spoken of in them. My favorite being Amazing Grace.

If you know Scripture, this song is totally Scripture based. If you know the end goal, your redemption in Christ and running the race, there is no room for criticism here. Yes, there is no mention of Jesus, but this doesn't make it non-Christian. It is completely Scripture.

It amazes me how critical people can be. I go to church regular and there are an obscene amount of praise and worship songs that DO NOT mention Jesus by name only allude to it being Jesus. Take Amazing Grace for instance.... How many times does that mention Jesus? People like TobyMac bring more people to Christ by going into the world and fishing for the lost than you will ever reach by presenting yourselves as holier than thou..... Maybe you should look in your Bible and see how Jesus reached the Lost - it wasn't by sitting on the pew at church complaining. The Old Rugged Cross was put to paper in 1912 by George Bernard, Handel wrote Messiah in 1741.... You really have to wonder what hymns Jesus and his disciples were singing back then..... Christian music has developed over time. You may not like it - but don't bash it or say that it is not Christian music simply because it does not meet your limited view of what Christian music is.

I probably sound like a nut but the album art and this title, "Eye on it" reminds me of the whole Illuminati conspiracy. Pretty creepy.

Really? He's got his eye on what? This might be a good motivational song for kids who like this kind of music but what about it do you consider Christian? I'm puzzled! No mention of God, Jesus, Christ or any other words that bear any relationship to Christianity. If you do really believe this is positive in any Christian concept, I'm seriously worried about God Tube. We are warned about conterfiets that come to steal us away in the End Times. I'll be watching you closely now and be posting regularly to see if this is a new ditection you are taking. I find this very worrisome.

I love it! it's a very hip modern song but I think it's not for everyone, it's mostly for young people, that's why many of toby's old fans won't like it...

Heb 12:2 "We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish."
