I would have to disagree about this being wrong. If my future hubby wants to dance for me as David danced for the Lord, I would be happy, no matter what song was playing--as long as the song was appropriate :)

I had more fun watching this, especially the grandma in the green dress to the right of the screen! She was so confused at first! She was balanced out by the Grandma near the end to the left of the screen that could not stop cracking up!

'the wedding is over, probably sacred and beautiful. Reception is the time to celebrate. Judge not, least yes be judged.

Oh my goodness....Jesus died at the cross to set us free....some of the people who commented here truly needs setting free from a judgmental attitude. God wants us to have fun...playing a Justin Bieber song at one's own wedding to express your love for your bride and have fun and impressing her, is NOT A SIN! Wake up, have fun, Glorify God in all you do...and as someone said here in one of the comments, we do NOT know the couple, their faith, their daily lives...so PLEASE NO JUDGEMENT...ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE.

  • 2013-04-15T17:37:13

that was amazing. as long as they know their hearts I see no reason why they should dance to that song. judge not.

Sir, not to be rude, but Jesus said not to judge others and from the comments you've left on this page, it seems that you do it frequently. Yes, this song was not Christian related, but do you know them personally? Do you know how strong their faith is? I don't think so. And also, sir, if you read The Bible , you should know that Jesus forgives sins. If this, as you proclaim, is such a bad sin and that God Tube is a problem, don't you think that God would forgive their sins, IF there was a sin? I just want you to think about this, why are you angry at something that brings joy, such as a wedding? Jesus told people to have joy. Yes, He did say that also have joy in the lord, but what He did not say was: do not have fun in life. Jesus wanted us to live our lives happily not just Worshiping God, which is a great thing to do. He wanted us to enjoy life and love others, and he wanted that for you too. Think about it. This is site is not by "Freemasons", this site is by people who love God. No matter how different their beliefs are from yours. Try to simply love others instead of judging by how "worldly" you think people are. It's God's job to judge, not yours.

I am disappointed in almost everyone of you who responded. Some of you I completely agree with others not at all. You all may be older than me but most of you are blind to some of the Bible's teachings. God did not say that fun was a sin and even if it was, didn't God say that we should be forgiven for our sins? Didn't it also say not to judge one another? If anyone is committing to sin right now, it would be those who condemned them for having fun. The song was not blasphemous though many of you thought that. No. Blasphemy is when you deny God, curse God, or when you change around His teachings. He shall receive them, no matter if they had done the worst of sins (remember Mary Magdalene?), just as much as He would those who count more on their own judgement as opposed to God's own judgement. When Jesus and his disciples worshiped God, they danced and sang. Why does it matter if they should dance to a different song? And Weddings are a time for joy, I know that and I am years away from my wedding. Lighten up and do not be so hateful to others. I was not reprimanding those whom I disagree with but I simply thought I would set them straight. Jesus loves you, never forget that and remember that Jesus does not judge easily, so try to break that habit.

Debby, when David danced before the Lord, he was wearing a linen ephod (I Samuel 6:14); he was not dancing nude! Granted, Michal criticized him for not being as fully clothed as she would have liked (and the Lord did close her womb afterward because of her attitude), but please don't slander one of Israel's greatest kings by suggesting that he would totally strip in public. An ephod was like an apron, so he was certainly wearing something.
