The unforgiveable sin is rejecting Jesus. I agree with all that you said. I agree that we need to reach out to those who are less fortunate. As a Christian we should always be tryig to do things for the Lord.

If GOD blesses someone so much that they have to give some away, then that's exactly what they should do. They should no't hoard their wealth; they should use it for the good of humanity. They should want to help their own country. Soldiers help our country by giving up their lives. Others COULD help by give up some of their money that they don't need - but they refuse. The love of money is the root of all evil. So how can they say they love GOD when their actions prove that they love their money more? This is why we need a president who cares about the rest of us who are struggle, a presidents who wants to help 98% of the country - not just the multi-millionaires and billionaires. <3

This is the true explanation of sin not felt, and sermons not believed—and good advice not followed—and the Gospel not embraced—and the world not forsaken—and the cross not taken up—and self-will not mortified—and evil habits not laid aside—and the Bible seldom read—and the knee never bent in prayer. Why is all this on every side. The answer is simple—Men are dead! This is the true account of that army of excuses, which so many make "with one consent." Some have no learning, and some have no time. Some are consumed with business and the care of money, and some with poverty. Some have difficulties in their own families, and some in their own health. Some have peculiar obstacles in their calling, which others, we are told, cannot understand; and others have peculiar drawbacks at home, and they wait to have them removed. But God has a shorter word in the Bible, which describes all these people at once. He says, They are dead. If spiritual life began in these people's hearts, their excuses would soon vanish away.

The unforgivable sin is not rejecting Christ. Is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

I love this message. So many Christians focus on these little issues and not what really matters.

Although I agree alot with what he has said, we cant scream "legalist" every time someone points out or corrects issues in another Christians life.. We will be judged for every idle word or deed. We cant excuse any sinful behavior. If we help the poor can we cuss like sailors and be promiscuous? I think not! Are all people who strive to live holy lives miserable and hateful? Hardly!

I'm 17 years old and I'm struggling to find God, I have many bibles. I go to many churches but I wish for someone, for many, to take my hand and walk me to his word. I wish to know his name and call him mine, but I feel so clueless. My life is in dismay and I am reaching out for help, but where do I go. I am on a Pilgrimage to seek God, to seek Jesus. Who so ever would like to join me on my journey please respond.

Actually, to be very clear, it says in scripture that the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. What does that mean? Essentially, that means witnessing a work of the Holy Spirit and lying, saying that it was not the Holy Spirit. For instance, let's look at Matthew 12:22-32, when Jesus drove out demons from a possessed man. After seeing this, the Pharisees blasphemed the Holy Spirit, denying His power by saying that Beelzebub (a demon) gave Jesus the power to drive out demons. Saying that rejecting Christ is the unforgivable sin is not specific enough. People may reject Him because they see religion and attribute religion to all of what Christianity encompasses. When the Holy Spirit moves, God has planted inside of us, I believe, a seed that responds to the Holy Spirit. Have you been in a prayer meeting or at a worship session where you could feel God's presence, a good sort of heaviness, or an overwhelming desire to worship Him? That is the Holy Spirit moving. Many people say that God doesn't move like He did in the Old Testament, and they may be convinced, but hearing and saying something is very much different than feeling it. Above all else, I pray that God would instill in you a desire to seek His face and His will in your life. God Bless!

Thanks for the reminder, but please don't assume that everyone watching this video has a boring life, hates reading the Bible, and sees prayer as a chore. If the point is, "don't be self-righteous," then be careful not to put yourself above everyone else. I know plenty of Christian people who are loving, compassionate, and generous, who don't come down on others because of their vocabulary, and who have very exciting lives passionately serving the Lord.
