Stephanie... When I was in Jr. High a group of kids would get together and bully me almost everyday. These funny, cute kids shared a lot of togethernes while they laughed and had fun at my expense... They had a great time, I didn't. I came very close to suicide due to it.. So maybe all "togetherness and laughing and having fun" is not a good thing from God...

Who are we to judge? only God can do that. In my perspective, it's simply a video about a dad interacting with his kids and cherishing every moment with them (which is rare now a days) by making the ride to school fun for them. Lighten up :) The love and unity of this family is more important to God than lyrics to a song. Yahweh is more powerful than satan, and Yahweh wont let satan corrupt something so beautiful so easily. If this family is a God fearing family their minds won't be so easily swayed for we are God's warriors against the devil. Remember Yahweh is Good all day, everyday :) <3 God Bless you

I think it was delightful, and I believe this daddy has bonded with his kids by having this fun little daily ritual with them. Sure, it would be awesome if they were having this much fun with a Christian song, but has anyone considered the possibility that this family is not Christian? Just because a video ends up on GodTube doesn't mean we can assume the people in the video are believers. Just saying! So let's just praise God anyway that this dad really loves his kids and they really love him back. Hey, these days, that's quite a big achievement, so give God the glory! Honestly, I was more concerned that the little girl in the front seat should have been sitting in the back. I don't think she's big enough for the front. That bothered me way more than the lyrics!

I believe the father's intention is always GOOD for their children...yet we all fall short of the glory of God....he has good intentions..when this kids grow up..at age 18..they will have a choice on how to lead their life..then the biological father will lead , teach them , direct them, and be an instrument to lead them to the right path!

ok people, I totally agree with W.M and the like. However to those who say it should be a Christian song, I don't agree. There are alot of secular songs where the words do not defame God and are discerning. Yes, Christian music praises God but sometimes, just sometimes, the music isn't as much fun to sing along to for kids and adults alike.

He has no discernment at all. As a little kid a repeatedly sang "Beelzebul (Lord of the flies) has devil put aside for me." Until I realised what I was singing. There are so many songs he could have chosen to sing with his children. Really odd Godtube places this as Coolest Dad Ever. No discenrment at Godtube either?

I've read every comment and am torn. I don't believe in dishonoring my Lord. I also don't believe in judging others. I agree this Dad rocks in how he is bringing joy into the lives of his kids, but the lyrics are atrocious! So what's the answer. Here is what I know. As a ministerial student in a Bible college my room mate introduced me to a song by the Kingston Trio: "Bad Man's Blunder" that was about a guy who killed a deputy just for the fun of it and fled to Mexico. Now, I would never harm a flee, never THINK of killing someone. But the song had catchy lyrics and I loved singing it with him. We had a blast singing it together. But I was in no way influenced by the morbidity of the lyrics. So my vote is YES for this Dad - with a Noted Suggestion that now he learn and teach him that Bethlehem version. Maranatha.

i guess the song would be 100% okay if we altered it to say "put a gun against his head, pulled the trigger now he's dead because he was oppressing the jewish community"

Hell yea Alyssa! High five for you lady!

oh, I'm sorry. are we talking about the same bible that features a god who murders thousands children so the king will release "gods" people? and then when the savior is born, he is brutally tortured, beaten, then has his extremities nailed to a cross, is impaled with a sword and left to suffer and bleed to death? and that final image is centrally displayed for all children who enter a church to see? yeah, this dad is much worse for exposing his children to a song like "bohemian rhapsody" because of the violent content...

Carrie McDonald Take your eyes off the world and put them on God and you will see Him in everything that is happening. Truer words... To everything there is a season...

Would raising funds for the Homeless be better than baking cookies for Sunday School class? Would teaching a child to read using a bible vs school curriculum be better? Will there not always be a better choice? I hope that the people who are constantly advising their brothers and sisters of a better way are open to hearing the same from others....
