As the mom of an army soldier my son is serving his country in Afghanistan on a 9 month tour. Him and our daughter in law are expecting their first baby in December. Chances are he might not see his baby daughter until June. This makes me cry and understand that they are not alone in their situation and that there will be a happy ending. Thank you to all of the men and women and their families who sacrifice their lives for this great country. May God bless them richly. I love you Adam!

My daughter, the one I was talking about in my comment, saw this post yesterday. She came to me crying and hugged me and told me she loved me. She said she never thought about it since it happened when she was a baby. She wanted to tell me she loved me and didn't want me to ever leave again. I'm out of the Army now and have been for some time but I've left on work trips many times. She's now almost 17 and I can't tell you how nice it was to share that moment with her.

That was beautiful, very moving video. I was deployed when my daughter was 1 month old and kinda know the feeling. Redeployed a year later and it was unreal to see the difference in her. Thank you for showing this, we should be very thankful for the sacrifices our troops make each and every day!
