Please Christian America. For the sakes of these victims & past victims violently taken, don't let another child die at the point of a gun. Don't let one more family grieve at the needless death of a loved one. The Bible says: "He who lives by the sword shall perish by the sword." If a nation lives by the gun, it shall perish by the gun. Please, as responsible Christians, you hold the power of God's Justice & Right within you. Bring an end to this insidious trade of military semi-automatic guns.

I can understand why you would question why a loving GOD would allow such evil. Please remember that evil DOES NOT come from GOD. Please consider reading "When bad things happen to good people" by Rabbi Harold Kusher. This is not a book endorsement. Your local library should have it. This is simply the best thing I have read regarding this subject. GOD BLESS YOU and especially those in Newtown that are in so much agony now.

Jesus, sweet Jesus You and You alone are the only One who can heal. Lord, we as your people cry out to You on behalf of the families of Newtown. Lord we ask for your love, presence, comfort, peace, strength, endurance, gentleness, grace and mercy to shine through their pain and suffering. We lift them up to you Father because we know only you can bring healing. We fee helpless and inadequate but You, oh Lord, can bind up their wounds. Help them Daddy, please help them. xo

God beongs in our schools and society and assualt weapons need to be forever BANNED and the Mental Health Care system need to be revamped. This cannot ever happen again! But Jesus said,Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven - Matthew 19:14

Thank you for your honesty Meridith, I to believe that to many of us have strayed from his word all in the name of being politically correct,,, How pathetic??

While some talk about gun control versus not and people try to figure out what led that young man to snap... it is so plainly apparent that while Jesus already has the victory, we are all walking out our lives and parts here. Almost like a movie that shows the outcome at the beginning and then spends the rest of the time showing you what led up to. It has been a very heart-wrenching reminder of a very real spiritual battle that goes on around us everyday. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. Sometimes people, even believers, just don't take it seriously enough. I know I don't. Or haven't at times. At the very least, I guess we should all be praying fervently everyday for the down-trodden, the addicted, the lonely, the depressed ones and the long long list of others. & Instead of only mourning along with all these families who have lost precious precious people in their lives---all way way too early-----even those adults.... maybe we need to DO something. & Keep doing something, and keep doing something... whatever it is we can... Let God use us as a tool or vessel that might in some small way help so this never ever happens again. R.I.P. to ALL the victims who ALL made a difference to many in this life. & Our heartfelt condolences to all of those left behind-----the families and friends, the co-workers, the children who did make it.

John 27, "Do you love me? take care of my sheep." God was never dismissed from our schools. we dismissed him from our lives, young people are attack today more than ever. And who is taking care of His sheep? No fathers, no mothers, no one to look up to or rely on. It's a shame we say that the reason this happened is because God was removed from our schools. We removed him from our lives and accepted a belief that true grace doesn't cost us our lives.
