Reality TV Star Speaks Out About His Beliefs

Brother Rob... there is no easy answer to your question .I am going to say a few things that might help you . It is very important in our relationship with God to focus on it without comparing ourselves with others and with their relationship with God. It is like in a family. The father has many kids. All of them have different ages, minds, characters, talents, etc. The relationship that the Father has with each child is different and unique. We all will be accountable to God for everything that He entrusts us with: time, health, wealth, the people around us, opportunities, etc. So we have to be faithful, thankful, and content with all that He entrusts us with (regardless, of what we would like to have or be) because we are created by God in His image for His glory, purpose, and will. Our life has to act accordingly with God's glory, purpose, and will. We will never be accountable for what somebody else does with what he was entrusted with by God. So let us not be distracted with others' doings (business or responsibilities.) It is true that when we are seeking God more the harder life gets for different reasons: the devil is not happy so he is trying everything and anything to pull us back from a deeper, closer relationship with God; we may also have to go through the process of dying to ourselves, which means to re-prioritize everything in life, meaning that we have to put God and God's will and purpose first. Colossians 3:17; Philippians 4:8 (I do not understand what you are referring to when you mention "His acceptance" ) Asking God for any good things in life is supported by the Bible to do so, as long as we use that for necessities or God's glory - James 4:3; Philippians 4:6,7. Regarding happiness I would rather say joy, which is deeper and has nothing to do with what we do or don't have, but rather is a state of heart and mind based on our relationship with God. 1Thessalonians 5:16-23; Philippians 4:4,5; 2Corinthians 6:10 I strongly believe in what I said and that it is based on the Bible. May God be with you and keep you strong and close to Him. I pray that God will give you wisdom to understand his word and accept it as is. 1Corithians 1:17-31

Thank You Willie and to all the Robertson Family - for stepping outside what most people look at being normal and to speak of God and your Christian values so openly and honestly. I didn't watch Duck Dynasty when it first started but after seeing what your family stood for and knowing what I know about the Robertson Family now - I would just love to come hang out with you all because I would love to be surround by such Godly People.

Thank you, Willie...it is refreshing to see a man express his true beliefs and express openly that his joy and strength and success all come from The Lord Jesus. I humbly submit I shall strive to follow his AND His example better than I have in the past. God speaks to us in so many different ways, sometimes in very unexpected ways as well.

That was a rather rambling, disconnected monologue with a lot of vague, nebulous claims. Didn't like.

Most video's are like that. That's why it's a good idea to start the video pause it then read the comments after that it should have time to load

Rob,I was raised in foster homes, but God was there. My father was a mean drunk, but God was there. I didn't meet my mother until I was 13 years old, but God was there. I married the wrong man, but God was there. I raised my 2 children when we divorced by myself with no child support or gov. help, but God was there. I was sent a god fearing man, and God was there. God took my husband and my oldest daughter 9 years ago but God is here. Sometimes you don't understand that as long as you believe and trust, God will be there. He has been there holding my hand while I cried. He helped me in what ever way I needed to make it just one more day. Rob, God is there with you. Trust Him and He will do what needs to be done in His good time. God Bless you and you will be in my prayers
