Job Descriptions

Establish the strategic direction of our website
Design high quality and high performance software
Work in all phases of product development from creation and review of functional specifications through assistance with design and oversight of all development activities
Work with development team to manage the daily development activities by leading architecture decisions, participating in designs, design review, code review, and implementation in a hands-on environment
Maintain current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology, discover new technologies, work with management and development team to implement new technologies
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and engineering support, and must respond efficiently to multiple program priorities
Understand and communicate the business value of architecture components to senior management team

Skills Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent preferred
5+ years overall experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Object Oriented Design and Programming, SOAP, Web Services
Must be hands on, enjoy and excel in a fast-paced environment and possess strong software engineering skills
Ability to adapt to new development environments, changing business requirements, and learn new systems as needed
Deep understanding of web services software and their architectural and design issues
Strong technical vision, presentation, and technology leadership skills
Experience with Linux/Red Hat Enterprise
Ability to lead code reviews and technical design meetings
Experience with high volume transactional systems highly preferred
Experience with E-Commerce or other order processing systems
Experience with PHP, Ajax, MySQL, Smarty Templates, sys/DB admin, CSS, Flash
