Director of Communities

The seasoned management team is looking for a Director of Communities. If you have experience in social networking, video file sharing systems or online communities, we want to hear from you.
The Director of Communities will oversee all of our Community Managers, maintaining a top-level, strategic involvement with all of our partners. The candidate will take part in new business development, as well as overall company development.
Job Descriptions
- Provide strategic leadership for all Community Managers in a manner that fosters excellence through teamwork, creativity, and personal growth
- Balance client demands with participation in broader agency initiatives
- Work with clients to uncover relevant needs and objectives, craft appropriate strategies, and implement tactics to help achieve a shared goal
- Achieve client targets within the context of the underlying value to the company
- Develop multi-tiered agency-client relationships
- Represent and develop the role of communities and partners in all areas of the company
- Develop broad industry expertise to support development recommendations
- Solicit new business and respond to new business inquires
- Travel within territory
Skills Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
- 7+ years of working experience in client or project management, marketing, interactive and/or ministry
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong understanding of the Internet, especially video sharing and social networking
- Must be detail oriented and work well in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Must have the ability to multitask and juggle many different projects simultaneously
- Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Ability to forge long-term, trusting relationships and develop business accordingly
- Ability to lead by example with decisiveness, organization, vision, imagination and personal development
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office
