Ron was saved at the early age of ten and began playing the piano and singing at the age of five. Growing up with a musical background, Ron's grandfather played fiddle, banjo, mandolin and had his own radio show every Saturday, as well as traveled with Bill Monroe playing fiddle. Along the journey, Ron lost focus of his passion for Christ and stepped into country music, where he had his opportunity to go professional country, as he opened for The Judd's, The Forrester Sisters, David Alan, Cole, Ronnie Milsap, George Jones and many others, but God had greater plans for his life. At the age of twenty seven, Ron truly surrendered his life to the lord and committed his talents to God. From that moment, God began to move in Rons life. God blessed Ron with several songs and a testimony in his heart of where he had brought him from. He traveled for ten years as part of a trio, before being called into a full-time solo ministry. Ron recorded his first major project with Church House Music/Chapel Valley Studio entitled My God Still Moves, written and produced by Mr. Shane Roark. My God Still Moves, Ill Make It Someday, God Will See You Through, and Price Of Salvation, all of which are off the project, have been on The Light Atlanta Charts and Olney Inspirational Charts consistently since November 2007. Ron gives all the honor and glory to Jesus Christ. Ron recently was nominated in the top ten Diamond Awards for Soloist of the Year and Sunrise Award. He received the nomination for the 2007 GMTC Award and the 2007 WGC Soloist of the Year Nominee. He has shared the stage with many of the finest in gospel music, including, The Hyssongs, The Roark's, Heirline, Big MO, The Greens, The Greesons, Reign Song, The Proffits, Faith3, Rick Alan King, His Way II, Perfect Peace, The Standridges, The Gospelaires, The English Family, Emmaus Road Quartet, Trevor Thomas, Jordan Amburn, Eternal Vision, Gerald Crabb, Charles Johnson and Revivers, The Chandlers, The Dosses, Heirline, and others. Singing Southern Gospel and Christian Country, Ron is sure to bless audiences of all ages with his vocals, humor and testimony.
