As we approach this Holiday season I want to ask, what are you thankful for. When I look back over my life I am thankful that the hand of the Lord was on my life. I shouldn't even be here! As a young teen I had the privledge of going to a Youth For Christ to hear Billy Graham. He was so moving that when he gave the alter call. I was the only one out our youth that stood to receive Christ. I believe that on that on that day God put a hedge of protection around me as He knew what was to come. I walked in rebellion and suffered the consequences. THe pain I caused the ones I loved haunted me for years but when I got saved for real the change became evident. I am thankful for GRACE and MERCY. As God began to unpack the suitcase that I carried on my back for years, I truly began to feel my load lightened. I am thankful for deliverance. As i grow in my walk with my Savior it has not gotten easier but I am thankful for the strength that He, the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings has given me. As my finances were stripped from me and it seemed as if I was loosing it all God let me know that I know that I know that He and He alone is my provider. I am thankful for that. YOu see He already overcame the world for me. I am thankful that I am not of this world and only passing through. I am thankful that He is teaching me the importance of living Holy as He is Holy. As I lost my father to emphazima and my mother to Leukemia and my uncle to cancer from who knows where God let me know He was now all those things to me and I would never be alone. I am thankful for that. I look back on my life and I can see that His hand was ordering my steps. Not only am I thankful for that but I will be eternally gratefull to my all in all.
