Pastor Ricky Kurth of The BErean Bible Society responded with the following answer for lovedaniel's question. Dear Lovedaniel, The Apostle Paul says that "...in the last days perilous times shall come" (II Timothy 3:1). But he then goes on to say things like "men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud," etc. It could easily be argued, "When have men NOT been lovers of their own selves, covetous, etc. I think that this is Paul's way of saying that the last days of the dispensation of grace will look pretty much the same as any other era. This is why he says that we should be "looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:13). He wants us looking for the Rapture, not looking for signs preceding the Rapture! Yours In Christ Pastor Kurth |

hi, i have a guestion..i was wondering as i see more and more shows and movies coming out with , psychics and more scary children psychics... claiming to hear and see the dead ? i was wondering are theses signs of the end times ? and if anthing what are they alleging to see ghosts or demons? i hope u can answer me ,,, god bless you! |

Hi and thanks for the invite. Wow, I didn't realize you had so many videos posted! They all sound very interesting. I will have to view them when I have some real time. I'm sure I will have plenty to say. I just can't help myself! I love talking about the Lord and his Word. It is true Iron sharpens iron. I am amazed at what God brings to my mind as I engage in conversation about him. It brings to mind a study that a friend of mine did a study on. It was the two men traveling on the road to Emmaus(I think). The two of them were speaking about Jesus and the things that had happened with him being crucified. Jesus was with them in the discussion and they were unaware until Jesus made himself known. The lesson was that as we speak about him, he reveals himself to us. It was called the blessing in fellowship. |
