Western Civilization is indebted to the Bible for its inspiration in our art, music, literature, culture, history, government and lives. Studying it is critical to understanding past and current events. The Bible is a reference for historians. It documents 2,000 years of civilization's history and corroborates the writings of historians through the ages.
Since 1922, Bible in the Schools has provided resources so that legal, for-credit Bible history courses can be taught in the Hamilton County, Tennessee public middle and high schools.
