    Grew up in a very conservative, legalistic church... have since changed my belief"s and views. I have 5 great kids, was married to their dad for 20 yrs., got divorced and am now married to the love of my life,although our marriage has been somewhat stormy. I do know that if one is not living for God, then you might as well not be living. In the end, HE is the only thing that matters. Well, this is just the surface of my life...don"t want to bore you all. Although, our family is QUITE interesting and not of the "norm"!!!! Well, I feel that I must respond to my daughter's comments...yes, I am an alcoholic, a recovering alcoholic. I have been sober for 4 months now. It is a lifetime battle, but I now realize and believe that it IS a disease...Use to not believe that ....thought it was a weakness and a choice, which it IS a choice when you take the first drink, but now understand so much more than I have in the past. I do know that God loves me,in spite of my weaknesses and downfalls. I keep telling myself, I can do all things through Christ, who gives me the strength.
