Too many people are criticizing the Global War on Terrorism in this country. Why are they the ones complaining how soldiers are fighting to protect are us, and they are not even the ones risking there lives. Do you think the soldiers want you complaining how they are trying to keep you safe? They are the ones doing all the work for us and some people do not even give them a bit if credit for risking there lives to protect our freedom.
Our Military is a volitaier military, so the people overseas want to be there, they want to protect our country, they want to save our lives. It is there choice not our governments, the president does not force them to go to Iraq, Korea, Kuwait or Qatar so quit blaming them.
Above all it is the right thing to do, those countries need our help. With out us they could be taken over by the Taliban or other terrorist. If that happens then were in danger to, El Sama Bin Ladin has said it himself, they want all Americans to die. So next time before you criticize the war think about what would happen if our soldiers were no protecting us.
How often we take for granted the great gift of freedom we have, but how little we think about the millions of people who died to get us there. Even though some might say they died in vain I know that that there lives were not given up for nothing but they helped protect us from all the evils of this world that are trying to take away our precious privilege. Hopefully more people will come to understand how they willing gave up their lives for us and that if it was not for them we wouldnât have that indescribable treasured gift we have.

Evangelism is spreading the good news of Jesus Christ that we need to spread to the world. In John 17:18 Jesus sends us into the world to spread his word and the gospel to all people. In the original manuscripts of the Bible, the Greek word pempo was used, which actually means to be sent with a blessing. We are sent with a blessing from God to witness to others. Evangelism is not just for the official evangelist, it is for every Christian to spread Gods word about how Jesus lived a perfect life, suffered, and died for us to forgive our sins and is still alive today. When we care for outsiders, friends, and even enemies, God uses our relationships to share the good news of Jesus Christ with them without stuffing it down their throat. When we evangelize, we first need to pray for them the share Gods Word because the Holy Spirit can work through Gods Holy Word to do miracles. In Luke 5:17-26 the paraplegics friends did everything they could to get him to see Jesus. His friends knew that Jesus could heal the sick and that he was sent from God. They did not just pray that the Almighty God would heal him, but they got off their feet and went to see Jesus. Just as the paraplegics friends would do anything, we need to do everything to spread the word of God. We do not have to be the next Martin Luther or Billy Graham, reform the Catholic Church or hold revivals in front of millions of people God worked through the big and little things that we do. Even a little encouragement to someone can help them to see Gods light through you.
This is important in that God directly sent us on a mission to spread his word. As Christians, it is the main goal for us to spread the word of Jesus Christ. When we spread his word it can impact the lives of the thousands of lost souls out in the world. Everyone needs to hear it because all who do not will be condemned to hell. When my parents were on a mission trip to El Salvador, they did some street preaching. They would set up speakers on in Neighborhoods and have dramas, mimes, and music to share the Gospel. Even with the language barrier, they were able to share the Good News!
We can evangelize in many ways. It can be as simple as inviting a friend to church or going on a mission trip to a third world country. When evangelizing we must go for the right reasons, to rescue sinners and tell the story on how Jesus Christ our eternal savior suffered and died for our sins, and three days later, presto change oh, he brings himself back to life and still lives today. Without him, we would still be slaughtering lambs. Some people just go on mission trips to meet new people and experience the culture. Those are not bad per say, but they should not be the number one reason you would go on a mission trip. When you go on one, it will not only impact the ones you are sharing the gospel to, but when done for the right reasons it will make a lasting impression on you. Also, when evangelizing to people for the wrong reasons, the Holy Spirit will not be able to work through you as easily and people might be able to tell you aree a fake. In response to all God has done, we in turn need to spread the good news of Jesus Christ through Evangelism as he has commanded sending us to do His work.
