Acclaim Ministries International is a non-denominational ministry affiliated with the World Harvest Ministerial Alliance -- Columbus, OH Mission: Rebuilding Lives in the Spirit of Excellence! Description Pastor Gerald and First Lady Carol Ervin are the faithful and dedicated pastors who minister the Word of God each Sunday at Acclaim Ministries International. Gerald & Carol firmly believe that people can rise above their afflictions and unfavorable circumstances by becoming totally dependent upon their faith in God. We believe in the operation of the Holy Spirit and the work of the five fold ministry in effect. Statement of Faith: 1) We believe the Bible to be given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit; infallible, and God's revealed word to man. 2) We believe that Scripture teaches that there is only one true and living God who has chosen to reveal Hiimself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 3) We believe that man is a sinful being in need of redemption. 4) We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God and the son of man, who came to save man from condemnation by offering His blood as an atonement for all who exercise faith in Him. 5) We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. 6) We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit in the lives of the believers to the edification of the body of Christ. 7) We believe that all mankind is subject to the death of the body as a result of original sin. 8) We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to everlasting life and the lost without Christ to everlasting damnation. 9) We believe in the imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 10) We believe in the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross which provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
