The church is in need of a major reformation.

So many people are sugar-coating the gospel of Christ. So many preachers are preaching about money and prosperity more than they talk about Christ.

We have been more worried about selling cds/dvds and remodeling the church building that people are turning to new made-up religions for help. People don't even care about the gospel being true anymore they just look at the people and see us as greedy, judgmental hypocrites.

When will we stand like Martin Luther and rebuke the worldly church and get back to biblical principles.

Martin Luther stood up against the governing church because they were selling blessings and selling ways into heaven. Does that sound familiar. Many churches are doing the same thing today.

It is time we stand for true religion. True religion is not religous but more a discipline of love, stewardship, and truth.

I find myself not even worthy to say all this to you, but somebody has to say it......moreover, somebody has to do it.

Truth has become a gift and a curse for me. First off, the truth does set us free, but free from what. We are free from deception, urban myths, and false teachers. The thing is false teachers are so popular that they hold the attention of the masses. There is a problem when our most popular pastor in America denies the gospel on Larry King Live. There is a problem when our teachers tell us to have faith in faith instead of faith in God. There is a problem when you go to church and you hear more about finances than salvation. These are the things we must escape from. The problem is once you separate from these things people begin to look at you different.

Urban myths entertain us and once we find out that there is no way it can be true it kind of spoils it for us. I've found out that a lot of people don't want to know the truth, they would rather live in a feel good fantasy world than realize the sin soaked world that we truly live in.

People tend to not want to rock the boat, but our Lord and Savior Jesus rocked the boat more than anyone in history. He didn't come on a majestic throne. He didn't come with earthly riches. He didn't come with promises of wealth and health. He did not preach prosperity. He preached salvation. He preached heavenly riches. He told us the poor would always be with us. He told us we would be persecuted as Christians. I am sorry that this isn't a feel good message, but I do have good news. If you confess from your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead then you are saved.

Salvation is enough. What more can we ask for. You can't add anything to salvation to make it better. Money isn't the root of happiness, just look how many millionaires are depressed or commit suicide. Mansions can burn, cars can break down, money can be lost, but salvation lasts forever.

Have you recently watched a movie denouncing Jesus or Christianity?
Have you recently watched one that promoted another religion, witchcraft, murder, theft, adultery, or evolution?
Do you practice yoga?
Do you still listen to worldly music that promotes sex, murder, thug-life, pride, or drugs?

Chances are you probably have did one of these. You probably say well everyone does, or it isn't that bad.

We have been so detuned to the things that are against God. As Christians we should not be supporting these things. Christians spend billions of dollars on these things while Christian businesses are closing left and right.

We don't want to support them either because they convict us or we look at Christianity as boring.

the bible tells us that we are shown to be Christians by the way we show love to each other. Sad to say I don't see much love. If we just love our local church but don't show love to the rest of the body then that isn't love that is clicking up.

Pull out of all things that demote God, support your brothers and sisters in Christ.
