Wycliffe USA is part of an international association of organizations dedicated to seeing God's Word become accessible to all people in the language that speaks to their heart.

Since our founding in 1942, Wycliffe has helped complete 710 Scripture translations—making God’s Word available to more than 78 million people.

Our passion is to create access to the Bible for people in the language they understand best, their “heart language”—their mother tongue spoken since they were children.  We have seen amazing accounts of empowerment when people have God’s Word in their own language.

Today, more than 196 million people around the world still need God’s Word in their own language.  That’s why we launched Vision 2025—a massive initiative to see Bible translation in progress in every language community that needs it by the year 2025.  We want every people group on earth to understand the message of John 3:16—that God loves them!
