The adoption of Miriam by the missionaries on the video is scheduled to be finalized this wednesday, Aug.27!! However, there are alot of things that could go wrong to prevent this!!SO PLEASE remember little Miriam and the Helwers in your prayers!!!!!!Thanks to those who are praying!!!!!!

The American Foundation of Suicide Prevention is the foundation mentioned in the video under video comments.I have not dealt with this organization so, I can't necessarily endorse it but, I looked it up on the internet and so you can do the research on it yourself.The url is afsp.org The phone number is 1-800-273-talk or 1-888-333-afsp On their website you will also find out when and where the nearest overnight walk is in your area to raise money and awareness.<br /><br /><br />

My nephew committed suicide 3 years ago and I also had friends who I never suspected anything was wrong who committed suicide, so do NOT think it can't happen to someone you know! Or maybe you are depressed yourself and need help.There is help JUST KEEP ASKING UNTIL YOU GET THE HELP YOU NEED. Jesus is the answer Suicide is never the answer!!!!

now today I heard of wildfires in Florida

If ever our nation and world needed prayer it is now!! Please pray these places will accept the food and supplies and that all organizations will work together to help them asap.If you give to help these people I would highly recommend the "Convoy of Hope" or" Operation Blessing". I would highly recommend that you give to christian churches or organizations instead of secular organizations. Secular organizations mean well too, but have such red tape and bureuacracy ( and sometimes disorganization )to go through, that not enough money actually gets to the people or it takes along time for them to get it.I know this first hand ,since I once briefly worked for a well known secular organization.The churches don't have to go through so much red tape, bureaucracy and rhetoric.They basically just see the need and respond ,not usually having to wait for the money to be despersed with countless complicated stipulations that may leave a truly needy person (s) without any help.Thank God for the churches after Hurricane Katrina hit !
