Teenagers Aren't All The Same

Do you believe that all teenagers are the same? Well, I dont think we are. We are in some ways, i carefully say that we have the same needs in most cases. We all need love, a good listener, but also a good teacher, where we need to be the listener. I'm talking about "all teenagers make bad mistakes and they're all trouble makers." FYI, we're not all trouble-makers. We may make mistakes, but who doesn't? Now, we are at our prime at learning. We need to be taught, and we need to be taught the right things. We need wisdom. We need God. We need to get godly advice. We need to be listened to and talked at. In these ways we are the same, but dont treat us the same, beacuse we're all different people. For all the parents reading this, we dont need to be treated like teenagers, we need to be treated like your son or daughter. I was just browsing and saw your comments. I think it's soooo refreshing to hear young people like you praising Jesus and doing something constructive with their lives! My sons are 13 and 17 and I wish they had more friends like you! God bless! |

Thats awesome.....I have a heart for the black people too....I went back to school when my children were babies, did my first year of nursing but ran out of money sooo had to go back to work....I'd like to finish one day and also do a mission....THanks for your friend request....You are precious! I just got a call from Teen Mania asking if I could go on a mission trip with them. Something I've been praying about for a while!! I really, really want to go...but I'm not sure if the money will come together because my parents did just get a new car and mission trips can be very pricey! So, If you would just please, please pray for me, for my family...We just need it now...All in God's Will and His timing! God Bless All of You!! In Christ! |

Hey!! Another one of my favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 31:30 which says; "Charm is deceptive, Beauty will not last, but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised." I really like this BIble verse because it makes us think twice about looking in the mirror 24/7, esp. us girls. God isn't going to remember if you were voted "prettiest" or "best hair" in school, neither will anyone else. But, God will remember if you were voted "purest" or "biggest heart" or "most caring". Everyone else might forget about that too, but who cares about them? I would rather God remmeber that about me then not remember me at all. So, next time you have a bad hair day, or even get a huge zit, just say this Bible verse to yourself and remember, no one will even remember it!! And, what's on your face doesn't say anything about who you are inside. |
